Job Vacancy: Butcher – Wils Hambling Butchers, Whitehaven

Wils Hambling Butchers in Whitehaven is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced butcher to join our team.

This is a part-time role working Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing, cutting, and trimming various meats to customer specifications
• Providing excellent customer service, including assisting with enquiries and offering product advice
• Ensuring hygiene and safety standards are maintained at all times
• Managing stock levels and assisting with deliveries when necessary

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a butcher is essential
• Strong knowledge of meat preparation and cuts
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

As promised I did not increase my prices in 2024 like most businesses to help my customers out!

There will be a slight increase from February (as January is a tough month) on the platters & buffets, but it won’t be much as I still like to be the best value & food in town!
