Rachel had her wedding at North Shields Registry office..... just look at that river view!
I only did a small alteration on Rachel's dress, but it was enough to make her dress fell and look perfect.

Italian style brings timeless elegance to this gorgeous occasion dress.
Deborah was on holiday in Italy and saw a wedding guest wearing a dress that she fell in love with. From a candid snap photo, we were able to take inspiration from the style and make Deborah the most glamorous dress to wear at her friend's wedding.
I've been inspired to design from cuttings torn from a magazine, mood boards, a pair of shoes and the flowers in my garden.

High Sheriff, High Fashion!
This sumptuous velvet cost was made for Jo Riddell who took the office as High Sheriff of Northumberland a few years ago.
To be honest, I didn't know about this honorary position, let alone that it had such a fancy outfit!
Making this beautiful coat drew upon my training and experience of making historical costume, along with my more current formal wear work.
We used antique lace for the gabot (necktie!) and buttons from a 19th century military uniform.
A fantastic job to work on!

The making of the flowers....
The starting point was the gorgeous pansy embroidered fabric from @bridalfabrics then I delicately cut out individual flowers as pieced them together to form the organic hem edge.
To add an extra element to the design, I added some flowers on top of others around the neckline and hem, sewn only in the centre to give a 3D effect.
With every bespoke dress I make, my clients get a personal service and get to help design the most special outfit for their discussion occasion.
