The weather yesterday was the most perfect for a wedding 🙌☀️

We had the pleasure of doing On The Day Service for a wedding at the beautiful thrumsterhouse 😍

Myself and Selina covered lots of jobs on the day from ceremony set up and tidy up, music during the ceremony, turning on fairy lights for the table centres, helping the chef, clearing plates etc.

We also provided and set up our fairy lights on the roof and some walls of the marquee to provide soft lighting for the evening - massive thanks to Andrew for saving the day and coming to help set it up with me.

This weeks wedding was at the beautiful Puldagon Farm Shop & Restaurant

What a venue 🙌

We done our curtain fairy lights all round the biggest section of the barn and wow it was stunning 🤩

We also provided and set up our white spandex chair covers and white table cloths.

Looked absolutely beautiful 😍

Yesterday then we went to the Pentland Hotel to set up our 3rd wedding.

We had already done our roof swags with fairy lights last weekend so they were already up and save us time yesterday.

We done our pilar swags and free standing backdrop behind the top table.

Finished off beautifully with our white spandex chair covers and beautiful baby blue sparkle organza sashes 🥰

Absolutely stunning 🤩

Huge thanks to all my amazing team this weekend who helped make it all possible without any stress! You guys are absolutely amazing ❤️

Next up on Thursday was setting up a beautiful venue for the first time - lythartscentre. Stunning venue 🥰

The Groom was my fab assistant and helped me with the set up - thank you so much, was much appreciated.

We provided and set up our backdrop lights on top of material the bride had sewn and it looked beautiful.

We also done fairy lights on the roof - wow it looked beautiful 🤩

Massive thanks also to Marelle at Lyth Arts Centre for turning on the fairy lights for us and sharing your photos with us, really appreciate it. We hope to be back with you again soon for another wedding 💒

Busiest weekend in 2024 complete! 3 wedding sets up’s complete and back home with a cuppa and my feet up after dismantling them all.

Set up started on Wednesday evening when we went to the Weigh Inn Hotel & Lodges where we put up our full room drapes and backdrops. Our roof swags with fairy lights were also up.

The bride had her own chair covers.

We went back yesterday then to check everything was lying properly and switch on all the lights ready.

Looked absolutely stunning 🤩

Next up was the stunning Stemster House but unfortunately we don’t have any photos of our fairy lights there.

We also had our roof decor for a wedding dance in the Weigh Inn.

Busy weekend and an even busier one next weekend but we are super organised and raring to go! With some of the set up starting yesterday.

Here’s hoping for some sunshine this week as I’ve the week off my main job to spend time with the boys 🥰 and maybe do some weeding of our own garden as Abbies just too busy to do it for us 😂

Busy weekend for KG Events with another 3 weddings under our belt!

First up was a DIY hire for chair covers and table cloths to be used at the beautiful Puldagon.

The bride very kindly sent us a pic of it all set up - it looks so lovely 🥰 thank you for sharing the pic with us ❤️

From the very beginning of my journey with KG Events my mum has been my biggest supporter. From cutting and sewing hundreds of chair covers to ensure they fitted chairs perfectly, ironing sashes, washing chair covers, being my go to for bouncing ideas off and helping set up…..there is a huge list but you get the picture.

She is the rock behind KG Events and still helps me with everything and without her help and support over the years I wouldn’t be where I am today!

My oldest daughter Abbie has just started up her own business so now it’s my turn to support her every step of the way with her business 🙌 I’m there behind the scenes and I’ve even been on the weeding and even on the brush this week 😂

If anyone is needing any weeding, dog walking, cat or dog visits or any businesses looking for a hard worker for a few hours she’s absolutely your girl to call upon.

We were then back Weigh Inn Hotel & Lodges for a stunning set up.

Our roof swags with fairy lights and the ivy which looked absolutely beautiful with our white spandex chair covers and yellow organza sashes.

We done all the backdrops on the 3 curtains and also used our free standing backdrop at the stage to finish the room off just perfectly.

Was such a beautiful set up and the colours were lovely and summery 🥰

Today is dismantle day and we begin the washing cycle again….then I may just chill with my feet up tonight!

So lovely to be back at the amazing venue of Stemster House to provide and set up our white sashes along with our fairy lights on the back wall.

We were a little early so the full set up wasn’t done but you can still see how pretty it looks 🥰

We were delighted to be asked to decorate for a very special birthday yesterday in the Norseman Hotel.

The set up looked amazing 🤩

We set up our spandex chair covers in black and white, with sashes to match and also some silver too.

Our free standing back drop with fairy lights and also fairy lights behind the band which looked fab.

We also provided and set up table centres - a mixture of vases with fairy lights. paulaspartypieces provided and set up all the balloons to finish the room perfectly.

Busy weekend for Team KG Events

Friday’s Wedding was at the beautiful Puldagon Farm Shop & Restaurant and was DIY hire for our white table cloths and chair covers. Also helped the bride and groom with some voile swags on their arch for their wedding ceremony.

Saturday we were back at Weigh Inn Hotel & Lodges. Our stunning roof swags with fairy lights and ivy along with our full room drapes and backdrops. Finished perfectly with our white spandex covers and stunning sage green sashes which looked absolutely beautiful 🤩

The washing has begun, now we need some nice weather so we can get it out and dried 🙏☀️

Weigh Inn Hotel & Lodges for team KG Events yesterday.

Our full room drapes totally transforms the room. We done all our backdrops with fairy lights and roof swags with fairy lights.

The bride and groom had their own chair covers.

Was a total WOW when we walked in yesterday to turn the fairy lights on. All white and so classy 🤩

Another fab wedding ticked off ✅ 2 lovely weddings to look forward to setting up this week for next weekend.

Another weekend another beautiful wedding ticked off ✅

We provided our Roof swags and fairy lights, along with our stage swag and Top Table back drop. The lovely couple provided a wooden Name for us to Hang on the backdrop too and it looked fab!

The bride and groom provided and set up their own chair covers and sashes.

Weigh Inn Hotel & Lodges looking stunning once again 😍

We just need our Summer to arrive now so our lovely couples can get decent weather to match their perfect weddings!

Thanks so much to Stemster House for sending us the video of the set up on Saturday too.

We popped up our wall fairy lights along the back wall of their marquee for the extra sparkle and the bride hired our sashes for DIY set up. They looked fab 🥰

Delighted to be back at the Weigh Inn Hotel & Lodges to do some set up for a wedding dance yesterday for a lovely couple who got married earlier in the year.

They went for our roof swags with extra fairy lights. Fairy lights on the wood and the doorway swags for the entrance to the main hall.

It all looked lovely and hope you had the best night.

This is our last weekend off before we hit super busy wedding season - the time of year we love. Getting to transform all your venues 🥰

We’ve been super busy getting lots of prep done for the weddings coming up, more organised we are the less stressful it is 😅

We had the pleasure of providing a backdrop behind the stage for last nights Summer Carnival in the Weigh Inn. If we can help at charity events we will and this charity is one that’s very close to me - The Lifeboat. So I didn’t hesitate in saying I could help.

Some pics of the stage, although I’m sure once those fab performers were on the stage it would have looked way better!! Hope you like my cute (but cheeky) wee helper too 😂

We love taking the empty hall at the Weigh Inn Hotel & Lodges and transforming it to each of our couples requirements.

We set up our white roof swags with fairy lights and it looked amazing! It makes a beautiful photo for the first dance under all those fairy lights 🥰

Along with our white chair covers, top table and stage backdrop the room looked beautiful 🤩

Wee appreciation post 👏

I always rely on my helpers with all my weddings. Sunday was wedding dismantle day and also getting a wedding roof up for today’s wedding.

Abbie is always my superstar at doing my roofs but a wee rugby injury meant she was out the equation for going up and down the ladder but the lovely Jayden stepped in and came and helped me.

What a team we were 💪🏻

Most perfect weather yesterday for a Wedding In the Pentland Hotel Gardens 🥰☀️

I never got any pics of the set up in the Garden but we did get a pic of the lovely arch from Caithness Event Hire. We popped on some voile swags to finish it off nicely.

Meal then in the Ball Room where we set up our free standing backdrop with fairy lights behind the Top Table and our lovely roof drapes with fairy lights.

We covered the chairs in our white spandex chair covers and the bride picked our gorgeous mint green taffeta sashes which were absolutely beaut on the chairs.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of providing our ‘On The Day Service’.

Myself and Selina had a busy day with lots of jobs ensuring everything was as the bride and groom wanted it to be.

Massive thanks to all Bar Staff, HLH staff, Photographers (🤪), Graham and my life savers - my Mum and David for mucking in and helping too, very much appreciated. Everyone working together as a team was the key to everything running smoothly.

The bride, groom and their family and friends made an absolutely amazing job of decorating the venue, it looked absolutely stunning 🤩

We provided and set up our swag back chair covers which looked beautiful with all the white room drapes 😍

Thank you for trusting us with your day.

Our On The Day Service is there for couples who are getting married at a venue that’s not a hotel and requires someone to oversee things and do all the jobs you need done on the day without asking wedding guests to do them so everyone can enjoy the day as much as the bride and groom.

On Friday evening we were delighted to provide our roof decor in the Weigh Inn Hotel & Lodges for a local business dinner dance. My fab helpers thought up the great idea of doing a timelapse of us setting it up! I’ll also post the finished roof too separate. Hope everyone had a great night 😀 I do not own the rights to this music

Soooo excited to share yesterday’s wedding with you all! I even got Abbie to make up a tiktok for me to show you the before, during and the afters 😍😍 It was an absolute pleasure to be asked to do this and transform the Weigh Inn to the brides vision. We provided our roof drapes and added in additional fairy lights. For the first time ever we done full room draping, backdrops at the stage, wood and all curtains behind the top table. We provided and set up our white spandex chair covers and new burgundy linen sashes making the perfect bows and finished off with our heart diamanté brooches. Excited to hear what you all think! Another post coming soon to tell you all about the drapes etc! * I do not own the rights to this music *
