A question to ALL young people age 14 to 25 years.

We are looking to put on a specific Duke of Edinburgh Award Programme that will focus on horses at Bronze level. This is part of our ‘Everyone Welcome’ programme with the British Horse Society and as we are an ‘Open Award Centre’ for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Programme.

This programme will be inclusive and will take place over 1 year meeting one evening per week during term time and some days during school holidays. It will also enable participants to gain the BHS bronze challenge awards/ RDA Awards as the various sections are covered.

We will work through:-

🎭Skills - Horse Knowledge and Care, Creative crafting, photography and more.
⭐️Volunteering - help with dressage, RDA groups, pony days and Fun raising!
🐴Physical - riding, caring for horses, grassland management and rider fitness.
🎒Expedition - a residential expedition trip all with horses.

We are applying for funding to make this possible for ALL so need to understand if you or someone you know would be interested.

It will start around Feb/ March 2025 pending demand.
