The Whisky Room - part of events venue.
I was fortunate enough to be asked by Gemma and Yasmin to take part in a photoshoot at the new Whisky Room. A venue for small intimate wedding ceremonies and what a venue! It was such a great day and I loved being a part of it. These are my photos, but professional ones will be following!

A great day's walking on Saturday to celebrate International Women's Day with a lovely bunch of Love Her Wild women 🤩

So today was a special walk despite the mixed weather and slippy rocks. I took a special person to a lovely place with a great view and cast them to the wind. ❤
I didn't know her, but I know her daughter and she's a friend of my mum's. I described the walk and the view as we went up and said a few words as I released her ashes. 🙏
A good deed done 😊

I love spending time hiking on the fells here in the Lake District. It grounds me, gets rid of any stress and no matter how many times I do a familiar route, the views are never the same.
I made a suggestion to someone the other day about doing something for them because they are no longer able to. It felt like the right thing to do. So, next week I'll be out hiking again for a special person.

Managed to get out and stretch the legs this weekend with a lovely walk up to Sale fell and views of Bassenthwaite where I sat awhile admiring, thinking, what a great spot for an elopement! ❤
I finished with cake and coffee at the Pheasant Inn, well deserved.
The Lake District has so many amazing locations for wedding ceremonies. Think outdoors, not indoors!

This afternoon I went to Rheged to see the Everest Revisited exhibition. Did you know a couple got married up there? 😲😲 That must have been the quickest ceremony everrrr!
I can't promise you Everest, but if your 'Everest' just happens to be in the Lake District and you want to get married on top of it, then I'm more than happy to fulfill your dream 🥰

As well as being a celebrant, I'm also a gardener working on other people's gardens who perhaps don't have the time or physically can't keep up with it. I absolutely love it! Being outside is just the best place to be, in all weather (except torrential rain)! There's a great satisfaction in being able to make someone's garden beautiful 👩‍🌾

I had a very family centred Naming ceremony today at the fabulous Netherwood hotel in Grange-over-Sands. The children definitely stole the show! 😊

was the location for a recent photoshoot I took part in and it was a lot of fun! and were the photographers/videographers for the day and as you can see their photos are amazing 👌 I met some lovely people and the day was just perfect 😊

Had a visit to this amazing wedding venue! It's very close to where I live - 10 minutes away, in the north Cumbrian countryside. I was looking out for the top of the tipis on my way, but they're so well hidden! If you haven't yet booked your venue for your wedding you MUST have a look at this place. Sarah and Adrian are great, very welcoming and friendly. The new toilet block has been designed with such creativity and style!

What a busy weekend! 😊
Friday I was a training course with the Ramblers for the LDNP, learning how to take path surveys and walking round an area in the South Lakes I hadn't been to before.
Saturday was a spa catch up with a dear friend followed by yummy food at Southport Market.
Today I was back down South Lakes area to the Netherwood hotel for a naming ceremony meeting with a family.
All in all a very productive weekend! 😊
