was the location for a recent photoshoot I took part in and it was a lot of fun! and were the photographers/videographers for the day and as you can see their photos are amazing 👌 I met some lovely people and the day was just perfect 😊

Had a visit to this amazing wedding venue! It's very close to where I live - 10 minutes away, in the north Cumbrian countryside. I was looking out for the top of the tipis on my way, but they're so well hidden! If you haven't yet booked your venue for your wedding you MUST have a look at this place. Sarah and Adrian are great, very welcoming and friendly. The new toilet block has been designed with such creativity and style!

What a busy weekend! 😊
Friday I was a training course with the Ramblers for the LDNP, learning how to take path surveys and walking round an area in the South Lakes I hadn't been to before.
Saturday was a spa catch up with a dear friend followed by yummy food at Southport Market.
Today I was back down South Lakes area to the Netherwood hotel for a naming ceremony meeting with a family.
All in all a very productive weekend! 😊

My mum sent me the first picture this morning after hearing that a 3rd lifelong friend had passed away. Not unusual, my mum and her friends are all hitting 80+ years. However, 3 IN A WEEK - that is really sad and shocking 😢 She has spent most of this last week on the phone letting people know and talking about death 💔
The second picture is something my mum says all the time and which we all try to live by. Live your life and make it count!

I watched this film last night (recommended by my mum) and it is beautiful. The acting is superb and the story just amazing, especially as it's true. If you haven't seen it, watch it on Netflix (and have those tissues ready).

This is my other job!
Apart from being a celebrant, I'm also a part-time teacher at a lovely school near Carlisle. Photo 1 is my role as an EAL teacher and photo 2 shows what I do as a Forest School practitioner. Who knows - I might just be celebrating some of my students at their weddings! 🥰

I have a new collaboration that I'm super excited about and want to share with you!
I visited a new venue that has undergone a huge renovation and the results are beautiful. country house sits on lake Windermere with amazing views across the lake.
