Huge congratulations to the wonderful couple who I know are having an epic honeymoon right now
So pleased to be able to show some of the photos from their special day which showcase my floral arrangements for the day. This photograph of them kissing is wonderful and captures the love and romance so wonderfully! .

The floral brief was wild flowers with an elegant twist in purple and yellow tones. My home grown dahlias elevated the bridal bouquet which also featured, amongst others, asters and snapdragons encased in a variety of eucalyptus. I also created the eucalyptus & gysophelia hair embelishments. And I adored designing the groom's and groomsmen's buttonholes with a mix of dried and fresh flowers with my favourites, craspedia and lavender, featuring.

Wedding memories from last month .pla
The sunflower theme sparked so much joy. I felt so priveleged to be chosen as their florist.

I've been knee deep in flowers today for a wedding tomorrow but as I cannot reveal what Im doing just yet I thought I would post a little memory hop to celebrate all things weddings and to show previous floral design. I love weddings but I love being a wedding florist more. ❤️

Congratulations to Saturdays lovely newly weds 💖

It was an utter joy and privilege to create their wedding flowers and fulfill their dream and vision of having sunflowers as the focal point of their big day.

The gorgeous pink roses and white ruffles of ranunculas complimented such a joyous theme.

This wedding has reminded me not only how marvellous love is but how much I love floristry and flowers! I'm totally hooked and can't wait for the next wedding to bring some floral joy to another happy couple. 🥰

Went out early thus morning with my daughter for an early pick and the anemones are here! They're closed first thing so I've come home to find this gorgeous display of homegrown blooms.

A few more days of sun like this and they'll be so plentiful ready for little posies that I shall put out in an honesty box. Its so exciting to watch them bloom after all the love and care you put into them.

N E W D E S I G N 💫
I stayed up late last night making these gorgeous new posies for my oil diffuser range.
It is a new addition made specially for my first artisan market in my home town Wilmslow this Saturday. 💐
It includes craspedia, scabious stellata and statice hand dried by me, here at my Rose Yard.

I'm super excited and a little nervous as it's my first one. All the fears like, 'what if no one likes my creations?', 'have I made enough?.....or too much?'
I need to kick aside my fears. Or just feel the fear and throw myself in anyway! 👊
I'm looking forward to meeting other traders and feeling the buzz of Wilmslow on a sunny spring day.

My very first Artisan market in Wilmslow 💐

I shall be there selling my dried flowers and floral oil duffers. Many of the flowes used are home grown and dried by me and the essential oils used are all organic and handblended by me too.

I'm nervous, I'm excited, I'm bloody knackered from mixing, blending creating and boxing but I know it will be a fun day.

Like pretty maids all in a row..... I have no idea why that line from an old nursery rhyme keeps popping in my head whenever I line up my flowery treats but it does! They certainly are pretty- I'm really drawn to soft pinks and blues at the moment and I just love the blue frills of the scabiosa. These were going out today as thank you gifts and really are a beautiful way to make someone's day. We're gonna party like it's my birthday! Which mainly involves potting in my greenhouse because I have been bought the best birthday gift ever- Cafe Au Lait dahlia tubers from @westcountrynurseries I can't wait to see their white creamy petals form and turn them into sumptious bouquets. 😍 This is my second lockdown birthday but I really don't mind as lockdown life has given me this wonderful joy of gardening and flowers. 🌷🌹 On a different note, I had to find a lyric free version of 'In Da Club' because 50Cent is terribly sweary!
