Chocolate cake with chocolate ganache OR

I’ve been thinking recently about what I do and have done over the last nearly 4 decades and the difference between weddings and wakes as a caterer. Pretty much it is this…
For a WEDDING clients take charge and you provide exactly what they want, whilst for a WAKE (as a caterer), you take charge and provide what they need and often what they don’t even know that they want.
So if someone you know is in need, please do get in touch - I guarantee I will give your loved one the sendoff they deserve and the family wants.

Fed up with supermarket sandwiches and want to start the year with a fresh, healthy alternative? (Don’t worry - if it’s sandwiches you want I still make some of the best you’ll eat)!
Try me: from breakfast platters (the smell of warm croissants wafting through your office) to a hot hearty soup and warm bread or an all in salad - all delivered beautifully presented, ready to eat and with proper china too (no plastic here and no washing up either).

Following on from my last post and as a local caterer (Colehill based - 5* local authority registered/insured/qualified) - people often say they wish they had known about my WAKE CATERING before. These days lots of families decide to take care of funeral refreshments themselves - but are unprepared for how busy and stressful it can be following the death of a loved one. Numbers attending the service and wake can often rise unexpectedly, adding additional worry and it can be a shock to discover sandwich platters from M&S or Sainsbury’s have a minimum 4 day order time! So as an alternative, if you find yourself in this scenario and need help - try me - if I can I will!…please do get in touch even if it’s the day before (I thrive on a challenge and I’m extremely talented at last minute!) so in a single phone call I can make all the arrangements required.

I have links and am familiar with many local venues and halls, can ease the strain of what is likely to be one of the most difficult days you’ll ever have to deal with - whether the wake is at home, in a hall or venue, drop off food and crockery only or full service, please do get in touch. I can work out what you need from a single phone call or email, or I can visit the family to make all the arrangements required.

I know lots of people will be ahead of the game and Christmas ready but for anyone who leaves it until the last minute - help is here!
I’m repeatedly asked for little things for secret Santa gifts or as a teacher thank you and these gorgeous individual cup cakes are perfect - beautifully wrapped with a gift tag too!

Cupcakes: £5 each or 3 for £12
order by 7pm 12th December for Colehill collection on Wednesday 13/Thursday 14 for teacher presents or order for collection next week.
