Exciting News! We have the beautiful Flotsam and Jetsam puppet show coming to Postlip Hall on the 8th March.

Bring your kids and come and join us in the cosy hall to watch the magic unfold with Lempen Puppet Theatre Company.

"Flotsam is soft, flexible, laid back. She slides and glides through life on the ice. Jetsam is the opposite, his insectile body in stiff and nervy, alert and watchful, suspicious of all in his forest home.
And then comes the weather... and they are both cast adrift in a world that is strange to them and full of a range of dangers. Finally washed up on the same island beach they must discover the other and work out how they can work together. "

An advert for rural Cohousing if ever I saw one.

While re-routing a drain we blocked a different one, then discovered a broken pipe (in a friendly neighbour's field) while rodding it out.
You know those jobs that will take 'maybe an hour' and end up needing a mini digger and 60m of new pipe?

Um... Yup. Fuuun times. (They actually are, though)

A Postlip Christmas tradition:
Whatever the weather, we pick a name out of a hat. Whoever you get, you're their angel. You think of good deeds-
Bundles of kindling by the fire
Breakfast delivered hot in the morning
A Christmas bedroom makeover
A mini Postlip in gingerbread for a family to create
Sausages and marshmallows over an open fire
A re-enactment of their favourite film scene
A whiskey and chocolate log just after Kids' bedtime
All kinds of stuff...

At the end of the few weeks, just before Christmas, we all sit around and each 'mortal' finds out who their angel is. Then we have a party.

Final Outdoor Yoga session of the season Postlip Hall this Saturday at 9.30am
I have run these through the summer so far and they've been really popular, if you'd like to come and try out a session I have a couple of spaces left and a lovely indoor space if rains!
