We are delighted to be resuming our concerts with Oliver Tarney’s St Mark Passion, performed by Sansara, Wi******er College Glee Club and Orchestra, and a fine line-up of soloists, conducted by Benjamin Cunningham. This wonderful work was written for the St Endellion Easter Festival, and first performed there in 2019. The libretto, based on St Mark’s relating of Christ’s Passion and Crucifixion, is written by Lucia Quinault.

Wi******er College will mark the Centenary of the Armistice on Monday (5th November) with a performance by the wonderful Doric String Quartet of Haydn’s Seven Last Words of Christ. The movements of this powerful masterpiece will be interspersed with War Poetry read by pupils from local schools. Free entry, with a collection for the Royal British Legion. This will take place in the quire of Wi******er Cathedral at 7pm. We look forward to welcoming you to this event.
