It was a pleasure to meet Sir Geoff Hurst - scorer of the hat-trick that won England the World Cup in 1966, and a West Ham United club legend.

Sir Geoff scored 248 goals for West Ham over 499 games, and 24 goals for England over 49 games. A true sporting icon! Without his 3 goals, England wouldn't have won the World Cup.

One of my favourite quotes is by Napoleon Hill from his book Think and Grow Rich, "Successful men in all callings never stop acquiring specialised knowledge related to their major purpose, business or profession."

Interestingly, sleight of hand card magic is the greatest academic study you will ever encounter. You can ALWAYS make progress, learn more, and improve.

On the flip side, magic is also a performing art that exists to be shared in the real world - the beauty is, the more you learn about your craft, the better your performance will be for the audience. And the more you perform, the more you learn about your craft!

I’m very proud to have received this certificate from The Brain Tumour Charity as a result of me performing my sleight of hand card magic at the HATT’s off to George charity fundraiser in Wi******er, where I had the privilege of being able to meet (and perform for) George, his friends, his family, and the extensive local community that attended the event to support the cause.

George is a very inspiring individual - his courage and resilience has proved beyond measure through an extremely tough and upsetting set of circumstances as a result of battling an ongoing brain tumour.

£22,410 was raised overall. It was split 50/50 between The Brain Tumour Charity and George, to help him fulfil his wishes.

A huge thank you goes to George’s sister, Jess, for inviting me to be a part of the fundraising proceedings, and for this wonderful certificate, of which I will always be very proud.

His story is remarkable. Congratulations to everyone for raising such a monumental amount for charity, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.
