What a fabulous start to our Easter Nature Club sessions 😍😍😍😍😍

Thank you again to all the wonderful children for bringing their gorgeous magic ✨ we are so grateful to have this little family

We've been learning lots about Oceans recently for our home education project and the fact that our planet is 70% water gave it a huge thumbs up from me when Minnie asked if we could base this Easters sessions on it.

Isn't it mad to think we know more about space than we do our oceans!

🧑🏻‍🔬 Scientists estimate that 91% of marine species are yet to be discovered!!!

🌊 The ocean produces 50% of the oxygen we breathe

It's gonna be an arty one!! 🎨🎨🎨

Nature Club is a 4 hour drop and leave programme for primary school aged children held on private land in south wonston.

We follow the ethos of Forest School (led by a Level 3 Forest School Teacher) which allows children to be self-led in their learning through playing, growing and learning.

By instilling a love for the Earth and its creatures, we hope to inspire these young minds to become future stewards of our planet.

These sessions are a place to come together, play nature inspired games, learn about the natural world and enjoy some toasted snacks on the fire.

I can't quite believe another year has passed. Thank you to all our wonderful customers, friends and supporters. We are truly grateful for the encouragement and love that you have given us on our project.

This will be our second winter in the Dome and we are still adjusting to our new way of life so bare with us but be sure that 2025 is being planned and an email will be dropping into your inboxes in the new year with dates and our offerings.

As you know this year started with the launch of a new business called .mushrooms which Jon and Chris are absolutely smashing !

Beautiful Solstice Children ☀️

We gathered to celebrate the sun over the weekend and here are some of the gorgeous children. Thank you for bringing the biodegradable glitter and tattoos and just your incredible energy, our wonderful Roofie for the fancy dress boxes and for all the families that attended. We love you and can't wait till next year

Such a wonderful few hours showing the lads from Lainston House around yesterday. We chatted, drank Turkeytail tea and cuddles chickens then strolled around this wonderful land connecting and ofcourse looking for mushrooms. This place is such a fungarium 🍄💕❤️🥰☀️

and .mush.chris from .mushrooms are now proud suppliers of their Lionsmane mushrooms for The Wellhouse Restaurant

I'm so proud of them. Please do follow these two on their incredible journey to being the number 1 mushroom farmers in Wi******er 🌙🙏🏻🤝

Holiday Mini Moons Forest School session was a HUGE success 😄 🪱🌱🌼

We absolutely loved hosting our Mini Moon mums and their mini humans on Wednesday for a very special Forest School!

We will be running another Wednesday Forest School session on 29th May at 10am - 12.
Pre and primary school aged children

These sessions are a great way to find out about our Forest School offerings as well as our Nature Club.

Are you intrigued by the world of fungi?

Then join us this father's day for a very special session honouring this fascinating kingdom. You will learn about how mushrooms form the world around and how we have 'mush' to thank them for.

Jolly Jon and Happy Mush Chris will be leading a session following their launch of Myndful Mushrooms, a functional mushroom farm here at Jolly Moon. They will share their story and explain the benefits of the functional mushrooms and how to incorporate them into your routine.

Is it for kids? it's for you all.

There will be plenty of time enjoy our wonderful woodland and play in the mud kitchen and while Jon and Chris are talking the children will be invited into the woodland for a craft with Jolly Holly but the children are ofcourse welcome to listen to the boys if they are interested.

We will be offering the chance to try Chaga tea, vegan lions mane soup and mushroom themed crafts and games.

PLAY, LEARN, GROW

We have a few spaces left on our Monday session and just one space on our Tuesday offering.

These sessions are a 4 hour drop and leave session where we learn about the world around us, play constantly and enjoy toasted snacks on the fire along with a smores.

Thankfully we have had many of the same children join year after year so it's a wonderful community of kind, nature loving children who attend. My daughter Minnie will also be with us and loves welcoming new people to the group.
