LITTLE PLANET LIMITED - COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES

Current changes

We have had to make some following changes to make sure that we are Covid-secure. Unfortunately walk-ins will not be accepted. There is a restriction on number of guests. Should an extra adult wish to attend then there will be an additional charge of £6.50.

ately we are unable to sell any refreshments, so please feel free to bring your own. All play equipment will be disinfected after every session with the use of a fogging machine. At this moment in time the Soft Play facilities will be unavailable. Covid Safety

Please make sure you have the NHS Covid-19 APP ready to scan the QR code on entry. Refusal will result into entry being denied into Unit 12 / Little Planet Limited. You agree that Unit 12 will keep your personal details for 21 days in accordance with NHS track & trace. You will need to scan and register every time you re-enter the building. Please DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING if you or a family member show any
symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), get a test as soon as possible. Stay at home until you get the result. Main symptoms
The main symptoms of coronavirus are:

• a high temperature — this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
• a new, continuous cough — this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
• a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste — this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
Most people with coronavirus have at least 1 of these symptoms. What to do if you have symptoms
If you have any of the main symptoms of coronavirus:
1 Get a test to check if you have coronavirus as soon as possible.
2 Stay at home and do not have visitors until you get your test result — only leave your home to have a test. Anyone you live with, and anyone in your support bubble, must also stay at home until you get your result. Please inform a member of staff as soon as possible if you start to feel unwell during your visit. To avoid queues and to maintain social distancing, you will have been allocated a check-in time. This will give you time to get ready, settle in, wash your hands and get ready to play :)
Please do not arrive before this. If you do arrive early please wait inside your car or outside. On arrival into Studio 2 please use the social distancing spots when entering as doors open. Your temperature will be checked on arrival as will all staff. If you have a temperature of 38 degrees or higher, unfortunately you will not be permitted to enter the building. On entry you will be required to WASH your hands, as this is the best practice to avoid the spread of the virus. Masks must be worn by all customers (unless exempt) over the age of 11 years whilst moving around in the play area unless eating or drinking at your table. If you have forgotten your mask you can purchase one from Little Planet. Please wait outside whilst we provide you with a mask. This is a Government requirement, please see WWW.GOV.UK for more guidance
This is a zero tolerance policy, please don’t shoot the messenger! Bookings are not transferable and are non refundable. Should you be taken ill with COVID-19, an alternative booking may be made at the discretion of the management on production of a positive test result. Please remove your shoes and place them on the shoe rack or inside the lockers (depending on which one which is available at that point in time.) Please wear socks at ALL times. If you do forget socks and masks, these can be purchased from Little Planet. All transactions will be CARD ONLY. Please do not swap tables or join another family. Maximum 4 per table. Parents and carers are responsible for supervising their children. Please keep your movement around the building to a minimum, keep to social distancing when possible at all times and try to avoid queueing where possible. Avoid entering and exiting the building unnecessarily. Every time you exit and re-enter the building you will need to register for the NHS Covid-19 track and trace. Tables will not be cleared until you leave the session, please help by protecting Little Planet visitors and staff by clearing your own food/rubbish and popping it in the rubbish bins provided. There will be hand sanitising stations throughout the building and everyone is required to wash/sanitise their hands on entry to the play areas. Please also wash your hands frequently, particularly after the play area & prior to eating. The doors will be open to allow maximum air flow, please bear in mind that it might be chilly, don’t forget your jumper or coat and stay cosy. There will be a dedicated toilet to Studio 2 Little Planet customers only. Please try to avoid queueing for the toilet. There is a baby changing table inside the washroom. Please take your babies nappies back home with you. If you require to use the wash rooms or changing facilities please do so before the end of session. You will have a 15 minutes notice period. Due to COVID-19 we have to minimise the amount of First Aid given. Please bring basic supplies and administer First Aid i.e. plasters etc using attending adults in your bubble where possible. But please be rest assured we are here for your safety if and when needed. Please also try to discourage children from putting play equipment in their mouths. We do understand that this cannot always be possible, so for this reason there is a basket where you can place these items in. Please DO NOT place these items back in the play area. Additional antibacterial wipes and sprays will be placed around the play areas. You will be given 15 minutes notice before the end of the session and children will be called out of the play area 5 minutes before. Please leave your session promptly to allowing time for deep enhanced cleaning. My priority is your safety and that of the staff. Please help to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 by adhering to these rules. Little Planet is for little people with BIG imaginations. Lets keep it going :)

It is with great regret to inform you that
Little Planet has closed its doors on a permanent basis 😢

With the unfortunate rise in costs of rental and storage, it is no longer viable to carry on without increasing the entry price substantially. And these days with the cost of living it’s not something I feel is the right thing to do, so I have had to make this very difficult decision.

It’s a very sad moment to be writing this post 🥺
I want to thank each and everyone for all your support throughout. I have thoroughly enjoyed hosting parties, and Little Planet sessions for your little ones, bringing together families, children’s and friends ❤️
I will be selling ALL of Little Planet toys including the soft play, if you do know of anyone who is interested please do ask them to contact me for further details.

As a busy parent with not enough hours in the day I would like to give a shout out to another local business is Shane at STAG Garden Services 🌲

After much research, I came across STAG, as our back and front garden had over grown alot!!
And the amount of weeds…😭

Completely unmanageable, with not enough in the hours in the day between home, kids and life and not knowing where to start 🤪, I contacted Shane and he came to see the garden. Despite asking him a million questions he returned to make the garden looking welcoming again and the kids could once again enjoy playing in the garden and I could enjoy that cup of tea 🥰 oh yeh and that BBQ 😊
It’s one less thing I can cross off my forever growing to do list is the gardening 👩🏻‍🌾 🌳
