Great recognition for one of our funeral directors, Evie!

Steels were very proud to have one of their Funeral Directors Evie win a national award in London this month after being nominated by Craig and Rachel, the lovely parents of Baby Everley.

The awards were from the The Mariposa Trust and Saying Goodbye who are a charity that is all too aware of the pain and trauma of loss, whether that be during pregnancy, at birth or in infancy, and provides a range of comprehensive support options via six divisions, to provide the support people need, at the time they need it most.

We are very proud of Evie and honoured to accept this award in Baby Everley’s name on behalf of her family.

Meet the man behind the magic of our Garden!
Darren has been looking after the gardens at Chesil House since 2010 and has maintained it beautifully. His hard work involves working in all weather conditions, very early mornings, and sometimes extremely long hours. Darren is a true asset to Chesil House and a friendly face for many of those who come to visit☀️
