Wishing the very best of luck to who’s racing today at the in Paris! 🇬🇧

One of the world’s most successful paddlers ever, with over 30 medals to her name we’ve had the absolute pleasure of Jeanette training at Dorney Lake for the past 15 years when she joined the British paracanoe team as an already outstanding athlete having competed as a swimmer at five consecutive Paralympic Games. She is also one of the nicest and inspirational people we’ve ever met!!

The last day for visitors to explore our grounds and walk our rowing course circuit this season will be Friday 19th April 2024, until the visiting season re-opens again from September 2024.

But as our 2023/24 grounds visiting season comes to an end, our busy summer season gets under way.

We also look forward to sharing with you exciting updates on our continuing re-wilding projects that can take place outside the visiting season. 🌿

We were privileged to welcome The Prince of Wales, along with past, present and future team members of HMS Oardacious for a very important discussion on Mental Health.

Heading out on to the water, they discuss how working as a team and pulling together can help get you through those times when you might be struggling. Something that the team applied when rowing across the Atlantic but can be applied across all situations in life from sport to business and in day to day life.

Sport This May…

Monday 1st May,
After months of Head Races and winter training, summer racing is here with The Junior Sculling Regatta. One of the first opportunities crews have had to race side by side this season.

Saturday 6th May,
Fun, friendly, and open to all. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned professional the event is one to take part in with . The cafe will be open throughout the event upstairs in The Boathouse for both participants and spectators.

Sunday 7th May,
The Ball Cup Regatta is for schools and clubs which cannot semi-final or final at national events to compete against each other on a multilane course with the overriding aim to give small and emerging clubs and their athletes a chance to experience true competition and the chance to win.

Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th May,
Often referred to as the curtain raiser to the triathlon season, 'Eton Sprints' Weekend is a chance to shake off the winter cobwebs. Eton Sprints Weekend has also been chosen by BTF as a qualifier event for the 2024 European Championship Sprint Triathlon.

Sunday 21st May,
Take on a Sprint or Standard distance triathlon with . There is also an Aquabike relay option too!

Friday 26th – Sunday 28th May,
The National Schools’ Regatta is the premier junior event in the UK’s rowing calendar – sometimes called the Junior Henley. The event attracts over 5,000 of the best rowers and scullers in the UK and Ireland aged 14 to 18yrs. Competitors return year after year and many successful international oarsmen and women have started their racing career at .
