Kim Wright Flowers, based in Windsor, creating artistic, elegant and natural floral designs for wedd I feel I have the privilege of being the messenger.

Being a florist allows me to play a small part in some of the most important occasions in people's lives, both happy and sad, and what I've learnt over the years is that people use flowers to show love. I favour a very natural look, selecting flowers that seem like they would occur together in a beautiful garden. My work is heavily inspired by art and the past - I play with scale, colour, balance

and scent. My type is wildly romantic and elegant, antique pink roses are my favourites, and I feel very lucky to be able to work with such amazing flowers, and lovely people, every day.

Birthday bouquet for gorgeous Julie from her husband Rob last week.

Usually the process is…
Once I receive the information from Rob about Julie’s favourite flowers and colours, I get on to the secret mission. Then Rob and I see Julie’s reaction to the flowers. If she is happy with my flowers (she is usually happy!), the mission is completed successfully. 😌

My Bella finished her exam yesterday.

I received a phone call from the owner of the well known café in the Korea town this morning. She said that King Charles is visiting her café and she wanted to have some table centre piece as the King might sit down to have their famous piece of cake and a cup of tea. I’ve managed to hunt flowers and containers and made some Autumnal centre piece with his favourite flower, delphinium. Of course it was eco friendly, sustainable design! She wants to give it to King Charles as a gift. Hopefully he likes it.
