Kim Wright Flowers, based in Windsor, creating artistic, elegant and natural floral designs for wedd I feel I have the privilege of being the messenger.

Being a florist allows me to play a small part in some of the most important occasions in people's lives, both happy and sad, and what I've learnt over the years is that people use flowers to show love. I favour a very natural look, selecting flowers that seem like they would occur together in a beautiful garden. My work is heavily inspired by art and the past - I play with scale, colour, balance

and scent. My type is wildly romantic and elegant, antique pink roses are my favourites, and I feel very lucky to be able to work with such amazing flowers, and lovely people, every day.

I finally managed to attend Leigh’s .chappell.flowers workshop. Since I met her in 2018 I’ve been admiring her work.
I run my own wreath making workshops but we all learn from each other. Leigh’s wreath is amazingly artistic and beautiful. My wild spirit was very satisfied with it!

It's Friday, and this week seems to have flown by unusually fast.
It doesn't seem like it's been long since morning and then it's dark again and it's night. Winter has begun, and as someone who gets cold a lot, I'm pulling out my gloves, scarves and coat, making honeyed ginger tea, and getting ready for a long winter. Today was a cold day, but it warmed my heart to hear from a writing friend who told me she thought of me while reading a book. It makes me smile to be in someone's thoughts, in their heart, even for a moment.
I hope that many small but heartwarming things happen to our flower friends and that this winter will not be too cold.

금요일이네요. 이번 주는 유난히 빨리 지나간것 같아요.
아침이 시작된지 얼마 된것 같지 않은데 금방 다시 깜깜 해 지고 밤이 됩니다. 겨울이 시작 된거죠. 추위를 많이 타는 저는 장갑과 목도리를 꺼내고 코트를 손질 해 놓고 꿀에 절인 생강차도 만들면서 긴 겨울을 보낼 준비를 합니다. 추웠던 오늘은 글친구 한테 책을 읽다가 제 생각이 났다는 이야기를 듣고 마음이 따뜻해 졌습니다. 누군가의 생각속에, 마음속에 잠시라도 머무를수 있다는것이 저를 미소짓게 합니다.
우리 꽃친구들에게도 소소하지만 마음 따뜻한 일들이 많이 생겨서 이 겨울이 너무 춥지 않길 바래요.

It took a while to find her dream style flowers for her special day. Eventually we found it together.
She loved strong and bold colours which were beautiful!
Not surprised because she was Spanish.
