Our Gardens are open for visitors and the sun is shining! Access to the brewery has not been inhibited by road works further down North Brink! Why not pop along and visit us from 12pm to 4pm today. On our Bramling Bar today we have our seasonal ales, Indian Summer and Down Under, and our classic Black Dog mild. The gardens and Hop Rooms are showcasing an exhibition of sculpture pieces by local artists Roz Fridhom and Hannah Fridholm and Enchanted gifts by Jayne are in our terrace garden with a wonderful display of garden fairy houses.

Adult entry £5.00, under 18's free.

Our beautiful Wisteria (Wisteria Sinensis) is in full bloom! Originating from East Asia, this stunning vine has captivated hearts around the round with its stunning trailing flowers. Exciting news from our gardens! 🌿 We're buzzing at the creation of a new herb bed filled with bee-attracting plants like lavender, chamomile, lemon mint, rosemary, fennel, tarragon, chives, St Johns wort and borage.

Not only will this aromatic addition enhance our surroundings, but it'll also provide a haven for our precious pollinators. Here's to a future blooming with beauty and biodiversity! 🐝

Spring is now in full swing and the gardens are starting to come into bloom.

Our Handkerchief Tree (Davidia Involucrata) is coming into bud, and it’s quite spectacular when it’s in flower! A deciduous tree native to South Central and Southeast China, it is characterised by its large white flower-like bracts that flutter in the breeze, earning it nicknames like Handkerchief Tree and Dove Tree.

If you are thinking of an outdoor wedding, this tree offers a soft romantic backdrop in our gardens, the perfect spot for a photo!

Mark your calendars! We are thrilled to announce that Elgood's Brewery's much-anticipated Beer Festival is coming back 20th – 22nd September!

In conjunction with SIBA East Region, and with over 100 real ales plus ciders, get ready for a weekend filled with the finest brews, live music, delicious food, and unbeatable vibes.

As part of the Elgood’s Brewery annual beer festival this weekend, our gardens and newly renovated Hop Rooms will be open to the public, entry is only £5 including access to the beer festival.

We will have live music playing throughout the weekend, and plenty of real ales to choose from, along with teas, coffees, light lunches and sweet treats available in The Hop Rooms during the afternoons.

Come and join us at Elgood's Brewery for our 11th annual beer festival - 22nd to 24th September 2023 in conjunction with SIBA East Region.

Our newly refurbished event centre, The Hop Rooms, and our beautiful gardens will be open on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September during the day, and our events team will be serving an assortment of sweet and savoury treats!

Our beer festival will host 150+ real ales, and a selection of cider will be available along with wine and soft drinks and we will have live music in the festival and gardens throughout the weekend.

We are delighted that The Hop Rooms have been chosen to host a well-being fayre on Saturday 5th August 2023 from 10.00am-3pm.

There will be over 20 local businesses showcasing their wares - you can try and buy some luxury products, sample a mini treatment and take part in an exercise taster session on the lawn. With live music and lots to see, it will be a wonderful day for all your friends and family!

We are beyond excited to share with you all some photos of our very first wedding here at The Hop Rooms, we couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect day.

There’s nothing more idyllic than an outdoor wedding on a warm summer’s day, and saying ‘I do’ in front of the picturesque lake surrounded by those you love the most.

We couldn’t think of anything more perfect - it was truly the most magical and unforgettable wedding, bursting with elegance and romance and a breath-taking backdrop, utterly delightful.
