Anthony Burns is a classical guitarist with 20 years of performance experience. Although his repertoire is heavily spiced towards the mentioned Maestros, he fell in love with the guitar because of its Spanish sound, and has spent many fruitful hours investigating the work of the early masters, Guilliano, Sor and Tarrega. His home town, Wishaw, has recently experienced an upsurge of interest in the

more current lead and jazz styles, which has challenged him to accept the prevailing aesthetics of improvisation, while demanding that the classical repertoire and the Teutonic/Romantic style be given its deserved place in current practice. Available for: All types of parties, cabaret, weddings, corporate work and private functions.
