Thursday was my last wedding of 2024!

It was a very beautiful and intimate wedding with only the bride and groom, their kids and their parents but what a special day it was🤍

We were at the beautiful Strathaven Hotel where Alex and Sionne said I do. Their Daughter Miilah had us all in tears when she read the poem she had written and then their Son Logan was just brilliant as he came forward with the wedding rings. I think he was also wanting to be the official witness and trying his best to perfect his signature 😂

It’s moments like these that make weddings truly memorable. I’m sure Alex and Sionne will cherish these memories for a lifetime. Wishing them all the happiness in the world 🤍

For the first time on Thursday I travelled to sunny Hawick for the wedding of Ross and Karen 🤍

It was well worth the journey as I had the pleasure of being at Branxholm Park. What a stunning venue in the middle of nowhere. Stunning views, stunning venue, all in all pretty stunning!!

We were undecided who to go for when we saw a post in regard to Raymond. We sent over an email where he responded and organised a teams call to introduce himself and went over everything he could offer. He was very pleasant with no social awkwardness and made you feel at ease instantly. He then came to visit us at our home a few months out from our wedding and then again a few weeks out. He discussed everything that would happen on the day and planned a ceremony around us. He thereafter sent us both emails asking a bit about each other that was read at the wedding. On the day itself, Raymond once again went over the details to my wife and I separately on how the ceremony would run before smashing the ceremony out the park with a mixture of past stories, words of wisdom and just the right amount of humour.
