About to leave to set up for tonight's Xmas party and thought I'd share a story

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DJ...

Totally ficticious story but I am sure a lot of my DJ friends can relate to this - especially this month.

Off to see Janet on the checkouts at the local supermarket – she was at an xmas party the other night I was DJing at.

I’m going to push in front of the queue she has so that I can be served NEXT.

If anyone complains it will be ok because I have to leave soon.

I will then tell her how s**t she is at her job.

Then instead of asking where the beans are kept I will thrust a picture of a Heinz Baked Beans tin in her face using my phone.

I will tell her to ignore the other 100 customers in her shop as she has to do what I want and nobody else matters.

I know she will let me have a go with her till, money inside it, scanner etc as doesn’t everyone let random people use their work equipment which they rely on for their income ?

I am planning to arrive 2 minutes before her shift finishes and I am sure she won’t mind serving just one more customer after she has finished.

If the shop does not stock the specific item I want I will remind Janet again that she is s**t at her job and enquire why she can’t just ‘get it for me’

I'm posting this in jest but the message stands. All djs and entertainers regularly get asked to do a night for free as it's great exposure.

Which is great if your bank excepts exposure tokens for payments for your mortgage.

Thank you to all our amazing customers and venues who have booked us over the last 20+ years and I'll see you all for 20 more.

Now you can ask your guests to share all their photos from your event.

With the quality of camera phones superseding many Digital cameras these days you can ask your guests to share all photos they take on the day.

Think of all the opportunities your photographer may not see or the snaps your guests will take of each other and around your venue.

We encourage your guests to share their photos with us that will be displayed on the screen on the day. You will then be given a USB stick at the end with all images that have been uploaded that day.

You can even treat it as a game and get the kids involved to keep them amused by giving them a list of items to photograph and share with us to be displayed.

This is available in the afternoon, evening only or for the whole day.

Available for Weddings , Corporate events and general functions too.
