Here's the tea 🫖 I started putting flowers together because I was penny pinching.

I was getting married and on a tight budget. I found a wholesaler close to me, paid £50 for some flowers I thought looked pretty and went home and practiced. I had a small amount of knowledge on how to prep flowers as my mother use to do it for her store bought flowers.. and thats it.

I promised myself that if I got frustrated or couldn't get the results I wanted I would hire a florist, but I loved spending the time pulling it all together and I was happy with the end result, which spurred me on to do more.

Here I am today arranging flowers for events and occasions, and while this is still very much a small venture, it is growing and I'm happy with that.

A couple of weeks ago I was asked to put together a centre piece as a surprise for an anniversary dinner. The end result was a beautiful basket of flowers which could then be taken home at the end of the meal.
