Saint Columba's House is a contemporary Christian retreat and conference centre. We are situated just 30 minutes by train from the heart of London.

We offer excellent meeting rooms, en-suite accommodation and home cooked food for your retreat, business meetings, training sessions & conferences. Saint Columba’s House is a beautifully refurbished Christian retreat and conference centre a mile from the centre of Woking. We are open to residential and day groups as well as individuals who are looking for a peaceful environment in which to meet, s

tudy, work, rest or pray. Saint Columba's House offers Christian hospitality to all, irrespective of faith. The Chapel and Oratory are places of Christian worship and rooms are let on the understanding that the Christian ethos of the house is respected. Regular users include groups and individuals from churches, charities, schools and businesses. We offer a range of catering options from bed and breakfast to full board prepared by our excellent chef. Full catering for day meetings is also offered and refreshments come from Fairtrade sources. A simple bar option is available by arrangement. Whether you want to join us for an in-house event or make use of our 11 meeting spaces, we hope to welcome you to Saint Columba's House soon.

You may have seen our good friend Mark De-Lisser on Friday, as he featured on BBC's Children In Need, conducting a children's choir during the fund-raising show.

Mark visited Saint Columba's House again recently, for another hugely successful weekend of Gospel singing. Thanks Mark!

‘Hesed’ – A Poetry Reading by Linda Daruvala
Thursday 18th July 7 - 8.30pm. A collection of poems telling of God’s loving kindness through life and faith. Linda will be reading, discussing and answering questions on what will prove to be an insightful, inspiring evening. Includes vocal performances from Revd Wes & Mary Sutton.

What a fantastic weekend of gospel singing we have had here at Saint Columba's House, led by our wonderful vocal coach Mark De-Lisser.
Two days of life-affirming community singing with a group of enthusiastic guests, culminating with a live performance in the chapel. Such a lovely experience, we can't wait to do it again!

Holy Jam - Christmas Edition
The 'Holy Jam' is a free informal gathering of Church musicians and singers from any denomination and tradition who want to share the church music they love and learn some new hymns and songs from other musicians.

The ‘Holy Jam Music Session’ is on Saturday 2nd December and is for church musicians, singers and anyone who has an interest. Bring instruments, voices and music you would like to share.

Meet the latest member of the team at St Columba’s House!
Columb-owl will be watching over our newly installed solar panels, preventing birds roosting on them. We have covered the entire flat roof of the main building at St Columba’s House with solar panels to power the House with solar generated electricity.
We hope to meet 2/3rds of our electricity usage through solar generation. It’s all part of our efforts to move towards carbon neutrality. We hope (sun permitting) your next visit to St Columba’s House will be powered by solar!

We recently said a fond farewell to one of our trustees, Maggy Wallace. Maggy has been at the heart of St Peter's Charity (which owns Saint Columba's House) for many years. We thank Maggy for her many years of service and wish her all the best for the future.

We’re delighted that she is already booked to come back as a guest to some of our events in the next few months. So it’s farewell and see you soon
