Zinnias 2024, I don't hold out much hope for them this season!

Cold weather, grey skies, RAIN, and SLUGS have not exactly been kind to them. Plus this is not the variety I ordered seeds for.

Oh well, farming is never plain sailing and flower farming is certainly no exception.

Fortunately there's plenty of other blooms doing just that. Blooming 🌸

A seasonal bouquet delivered locally this morning (in this case less than two miles from where the flowers have been grown). These came with a get well message and tomorrow I'm delivering a happy birthday wish.

A great day out and a quintessentially British thing to do. The held yesterday in the Windsor Great Park, Berkshire. This year it coincided with the with members Lisa .uk and Jill along with myself creating the many found on the tables visitors could sit at and enjoy refreshments.

The exquisitely attired with his glamorous assistant Julie demonstrated some stunning bouquets using British flowers, the carriage was decorated using sustainable mechanics and British Flowers.

I've been struggling to post this with Instagram losing many attempts before this, so apologies for not tagging all involved.

WORKSHOP Sat 1st June
Seasonal Flower Crowns

Join me in the flower field at the Chobham Flower Farm GU24 (weather permitting) to create a simple seasonal and beautiful flower crown using ingredients cut just the night before.

I will demonstrate and talk you through the process before letting you get on making your own beauty.

There will be plenty of tea, coffee and cake and I'll be on hand to help you through out.

Please note, due to the seasonal nature of flowers, the ingredients on the day will be different to these (pictures taken at the Hampton Court Flower Show last year with the cast of Six the Musical)

Cost £45 per person, if it's wet we'll be inside.

Championing 100% compostable funeral arrangements to celebrate not only the loved one we've lost but also to honour the earth, the Funeral Flowers Directory links people with local florists offering plastic free, natural and compostable floral tributes across the UK.

You will soon find a dedicated funeral page on my website but often feel creating a fitting floral tribute is best done with a conversation about the person they are to accompany.

First Seasonal Subscription flowers ready for delivery in the morning. There is always something very special about this time of year, when there are finally enough flowers to fulfil the first orders.

Now if only it would stop raining quite so much and be a little bit sunnier ....
