My last wedding of the year.
And what a day! Such a lovely set up really loved the dusky pink colour scheme with hints of winter/Christmas in the form of pine cones, blush berries and Cypress.

But oh my.. my first time at adding decor to this venue in December, and just look at that spectacular tree with the twinkling lights too, absolutely magical!

THE BOUQUET…

Dusky pinks, blush and ivory were the main colours.
My Bride wanted just a hint of Christmas so we added some blush berries, and for added texture my favourite fluffy bunny tails 😊

Three types of Eucalyptus and some frosted Rosemary were the foliages of choice.

A front-facing bouquet, means that my Bride could hold the bouquet closer to her body, which is easier to hold, and means that all flowers used are on show.

If a bouquet is going to be placed against a wall, a front facing bouquet will work really well. If it’s going to be in the centre of a table, then an all-round option will work better.

Ultimately the bouquet needs to be perfect for the big day,, but it’s worth thinking about where it’s going to end up too..,

REPURPOSING…

Where possible, we will encourage you to repurpose your florals.
This will save you money! 🙌
All you see in these pics was originally used to decorate the outside ceremony area first.

My couple was looking for plentiful florals to bring to life their adult Disney themed wedding.
The beautiful tree stumps were sourced by the couple and lined the aisle with vases of flowers placed on top.
We then bought these in and placed in front of the sweetheart table, the table seating easel around the base of the barrel where the cake was placed.
Vases were also repurposed and positioned on the stumps.
The floral sprays that adorned the Spinney, we’d taken off and used to decorate a wooden hexagon (supplied by .

There are so many options to re-use & repurpose your florals!

Wedding breakfast set-up… of dreams!

Gorgeous florals for A&L so pretty & romantic ❤️
All flowers had been re-purposed from the ceremony, maximising the budget.
Sweetheart table arrangement was moved from the ceremony table, the tree stumps placed in front of the table (which originally lined the aisle) the floral sprays which were outside adorning the spinney, were moved inside and onto a wooden hexagon, provided by

We took all vases that had been used outside on the stumps and re-purposed every single one throughout the venue. 🙌

Do you love the idea of re-purposing your florals (be that faux or fresh?) talk through with your florist about how best to maximise the budget within your chosen venue.

What a stunning wedding at the beautiful back in August 2024

A beautiful colour scheme to work with, summery bit romantic. Soft mauves, lilacs, ivory and a smattering of pale pink to act as a bridging colour. Absolutely loved it!

My Bride put her heart & soul into creating the most stunning centrepieces. I just added a few flowers to tie the florals in, but mire in that later!

A few more of my personal pics taken at Rivervale Barn back in August this year for a beautiful & romantic outside ceremony set-up for Abi & Lee.

My clients provided these beautiful tree stumps adorned the aisle. We created lovely flower-filled vintage vases to place on top.

Floral sprays were created for the stunning wooden structure, and a ceremony table arrangement (which was later placed on the top table ) to finish the look.

Lived the pretty colour palette chosen by my lovely Bride. Dusky pink, lilac, and ivory with just a hint of pale pink.,So pretty! 👌

A Moment for the Bridesmaids..

I mean.. how gorgeous are those dresses?! The style (very elegant!) and the colour was beautiful. Managed to find a luxe chiffon that almost perfectly matched the champagne of the dresses.

FLORAL CROWNS..

I don’t just create the bigger things (installations, arrangements etc or even just bouquets, I love to make the accessories, the details.,

Floral crowns are possibly one of my favourite things to make! They are intricate and they are fiddly, but at the sane time quite therapeutic to make.

I wire every element the sane way I would if they were made from fresh flowers. This keeps the finish neat, and lightweight for the wearer

My lovely client has had many crowns made by me, so when asked to create crowns for the bridal party I was honoured!

I was given a theme of ‘midnight, with a forest vibe and had a sneak peek of the dress that had been created by the Brides very talented sister . A beautiful flowing dress in a beautiful shade of blue, with added sparkles ✨.
We chose a navy blue and white (a little like a midnight sky) Dark blue thistles, and berries were used along with white Astrantia as they are almost star shaped and white Waxflower buds for a sprinkling of smaller stars in a night sky. For the forest vibe, I used Ivy and some pieces of Asparagus fern. Finished with deep navy satin tails.

The Bridesmaids were wearing plum coloured dresses & the theme was definitely Autumn. I used purple Astrantia, and plum coloured berries,!some dried Gypsophila, and mini pine cones with plum satin ribbon tails.

Mums was to be a surprise in the day, but we knew it needed to have lilac in it. After a little research I discovered that one of Mums favourite flowers was a Pansy, so I incorporated lilac Pansies alongside some gorgeous burgundy Sweet Williams, Waxflower buds, and ivy. Apparently Mum was very happy!☺️🙌

A lot of thought goes into a floral crown, but they always look super lovely!

SIMPLE BUT ELEGANT CENTREPIECE..

The most popular centrepiece of this year, and going into next year (with some variations!)

My Hybrid design gives the best of both worlds.

We team elegant cylinder vases and floating with preserved Eucalyptus.

Preserved Eucalyptus is real and although no longer ‘fresh” it retains most of its colour and texture through a process using a glycerine/water solution.

Although slightly more brittle, it is flexible enough to be used in bouquets, arrangements & centrepieces. AND it still has the unmistakable smell of Eucalyptus 🙌🍃

Using preserved, is still a relatively sustainsbke option, Although I will not be able to reuse every stem, I can retain most to reuse in other arrangements. This takes very careful storage and a level of TLC of the stems. But can be done.

This is a timeless centrepiece and be designed either way extra tea-lights, candles, added flowers, berries, pine cones (we used berries & pine cones for my last wedding!)

Colour can be introduced using a table runner in your chosen colour scheme!
