THE BOTTOM DRAWER //

My mother-in-law refers to collecting household items for the start of one’s marriage as ‘lining the bottom drawer’. It was believed that this was the best place to start squirrelling items away, safe and sound.

Whilst this phrase isn’t used much nowadays, its modern incarnation is the ever popular wedding gift registry.

OLD-WORLD EUROPEAN ELEGANCE //

I so enjoyed creatively directing and curating this editorial wedding shoot at Orleans House Gallery.

Every hand-picked supplier came together to create a joyous, timeless and simply elegant wedding scene, which evoked the last ‘hurrah’ of the sparkling festive season, all set within the baroque grandeur of the Octagon Room.

French and Wedgwood blue provided a pop of colour, and dainty details, such as scalloped edges and silk ribbons, provided the perfect tactile finishing touches.

Even if marrying in the UK, we’ve shown that the feeling of a destination wedding can be brought to your doorstep, right here in London.
