Volunteer opportunities at New Cross Hospital

🏥 New Cross Hospital is looking to recruit Clinical Volunteers to ease pressure on NHS staff during the COVID-19 / Coronavirus outbreak:

"I work at HR at New Cross, it has been a challenging fortnight for our staff and they are being absolute heroes but we know the worst is yet to come. In response we are looking to recruit clinical volunteers to help out, feeding patients, changing beds etc.

"Would you be able to post a message and this link to get this message out to the local community this weekend for those whose work may have been closed for the next few weeks to help out their local hospital?"

Midcounties Co-op are offering free awareness sessions here on use of the defibrillator located on Bilston High Street. Sessions will take place on Thursday 19th March (3:00pm - 5:00pm or 6:00pm - 8:00pm). Anyone is welcome to attend a session if they're interested. Please email [email protected] to book your place.

The Alzheimer's Society are starting up a new Dementia Cafe in Bilston for people living with dementia and their carers. The Cafe will start here at BPC on Friday 7th April and every month thereafter.
