Rounding out our A Winter Union spotlight is the incredible Katriona Gilmore—a true talent on voice, fiddle, and mandolin!

✨ Who is Katriona?
Katriona, a three-time BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards nominee, has been wowing audiences since she and Jamie Roberts released their debut album in 2008. Together, they’ve toured Canada and Europe, played iconic festivals, and shared the stage with folk rock legends Fairport Convention. A seasoned performer with a knack for captivating storytelling through music!

We’re thrilled to reveal the full Folk at the NAC lineup at Newhampton Arts Centre, taking us right through to summer! Kicking things off in style, we have the incredible Hannah Read, Vera Van Heeringen, & Michael Starkey on 22nd February—a night not to be missed.

But don’t forget, this winter season isn’t over yet! We’re closing in festive style with A Winter Union on 14th December, bringing us all the seasonal magic to end the year on a high.

Next up in our A Winter Union countdown is the multi-talented Jamie Roberts—a man of many strings (on his guitar and in his musical career)!

✨ Who is Jamie?
Hailing from a musical family in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, Jamie is the brother of the incredible Kathryn Roberts, who was just at NAC last month performing with Sean Lakeman! Jamie’s folk credentials are top-notch—he’s played with Kerfuffle, The Dovetail Trio, and the Emily Askew Band, and has shared the stage with Nancy Kerr and Blackbeard’s Tea Party. His ability to blend traditional folk with an indie rock twist has earned him critical acclaim.
