Our Story
We are the up and coming Black Country Community Choir which is vibrant, exciting and fun, focused on building a singing community of all backgrounds and ages, where people feel welcome and comfortable. Our 'festival' name suggests there's always something to celebrate!
We meet at the Beacon Centre for the Blind, Wolverhampton, on Mondays from 7.30pm. A licensed bar/coffee shop is available from 6.00pm till 9.00pm.
We're focused on creating energy, enthusiasm and just having good old fun! When you join us you will feel uplifted, sing fantastic music and connect with other like-minded people in a vibrant and relaxed setting! There's no formality here! When you leave, we want you to go revived, invigorated and engaged.
We'll teach an eclectic mix of contemporary, pop, musical theatre and gospel music by ear. No auditions or previous experience needed, just a willingness to have a go! All our music and harmonies are taught by ear, so no need to read music!
Your first session is absolutely free. We'll offer at least three concerts a year but many more social activities.
So if you're looking for something a bit different...come and try us out. Don't just sing in the shower...sing with us!
