The Wooburn Festival was originally conceived more than 50 years ago by one of Britain's leading orchestral conductors, the late Richard Hickox CBE. Richard's vision was to bring orchestras and musicians of international repute to perform in the Chilterns and Thames Valley. Or next concert is on Saturday the 18th of February when the Ellis Ensemble perform for us. The ensemble "line up" for the evening will be clarinet, bassoon and piano, which is a lovely combination of instruments.
