Everything on the farm looks so pretty covered in frosty diamonds. If you decide to stay in our cosy holiday lodge in winter you can enjoy watching for shooting stars, listening to the owls at night, beautiful farm walks, horse riding in the indoor school and hot meals from the Camargue Café to eat-in or pre order and take back to the lodge.

Depends how easily scared you are. You may like to try out this walk during Halloween, or if you prefer to avoid the ghosts, perhaps try it another time. Loads of interesting info and great photos on this site.

Autumn is a great time to visit. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and misty mornings. Lovely hacking and farm walks. Children can join our weekend pony clubs, The Camargue Cafe can do your cooking so all you have to do is relax. If you would like to order a hot meal to be waiting in the oven for you when you arrive, please book with the cafe prior to arrival. A visit to Sutton Hoo National Trust is always high on the list for a family day out for one Best of Suffolk team member, and a visit during the recent Easter holidays was a must for them.

From soaking up its history and taking part in the Easter trail to woodland walks where lots of imaginative play was carried out by the little ones (and grown-ups, too), enjoying the views, and, of course, a stop in the play area, lots of fun was had.

If you love walking with or without a dog, we have some lovely walks round our farm, and easy access to a network of lovely local footpaths. Our lodge is a perfect place to stay with easy access to the coast, Rendlesham and Tunstall Forest and Suffolk Heathland.

There are many glorious walks in Suffolk, from circular walks along the Suffolk Coast Path to footpaths leading deep into Thetford Forest.

Search out stars in Suffolk's night skies✨

With little light pollution on the coast, you can enjoy dark and wide skies – perfect for stargazing. Wait for a cloudless night, wrap up warm, and get set for a magical natural experience. There are two Designated Dark Sky Sites in the county, at Walberswick and Westleton Common. Other good places to spot the stars are Shingle Street, Dunwich and Covehithe.
