One of my dreams was to create a real equestrian variety performance for all the family, 40 horses from minis upwards, every act different. A very special memory from December 6th '08, my Christmas production The Magic of the Horse® due to licensing l had to replace the original music used by the artists for this clip. Mum & l did all the planning, bookings, PR & ticket sales we were shattered when we got home. My eternal thanks to all who performed, to my friends who supported me, to those who supplied and helped make it happen in 07', 08', 09. The run only ended because Towerlands was to be made into a housing complex. This memory is special as some involved (equines & human) are now stars in the sky, including my dear father Peter💕🙏

This is Circus, the routine, time, energy and self discipline is no less than a top athlete, from trapeze to the horses, right down to pull down & set up of the tent, you have to work together. Here is a short clip from the Ivan Knie act, 💖🌟 I get fed up when people/commentators use the word circus as a descriptive meaning of bad- from equestrian, even chaotic behaviour from groups of people, such is happening in the Spanish Riding School. WHY, there are enough words in the dictionary to use.

Those on the outside do not always realise just how much thought and time goes into preparing a program for the world of entertainment, there are so many elements that have to be covered including appealing to those who do not know what they are watching! This is just a little glimpse and it is that much harder when there are two or more of you :-) I would say enjoy for what you are seeing:-)

oh so very true but it is not just about being a rider - if you are the owner be prepared to stand up for your horse/pony if the rider/ trainer is not treating or training it fairly!

We had just finished exercising The Mini Marvels at the Horse World Live Event and backstage we bumped into a very special young lady , Paralympian Natasha Baker Para Equestrian Double Gold Medalist at London 2012! If you look at the cover photo at the top of the page you will see Tash on the far right front row, she and her coach Sacha Hamilton both performed in The Magic of the Horse 2010!

Ok l know this is a commercial BUT there is a valuable little training tip here as well. Do not try to put a round peg into a square hole, just cos you say it must do what you want - does not mean it can or it will lol

Well my friends for those of us who have animals. it is always a sad time when we have to say goodbye. Here is a video of one very special little animal called Tinker Larrigan who was with us for nearly 20 years - watch this clip, it really shows size does not matter, please share and raise the profile of our special little superstar -RIP Tinker now resting in our field alongside all our others animals who have moved over the years

This goes to show size does not matter.. watch the boss at work.. keeping Klaus in line. our version of natural horsemanship :-)
