I'm planning on holding another duathlon session this Sunday, 7th April.
Slightly earlier time of:
7.30am register, Jubilee Park main car park, for an 8am start

Normal routes, will post on Friday.

Well it was a bit of a wet one this morning, but still just as much fun. Also great to see Joe giving it a go for the first time, great to meet you and hopefully see you there again :-)

Have put the splits together, so as normal, if there are any queries then please let me know and I'll amend.

Next session is planned for March the 10th, normal time and place; will try and order slightly better weather ;-)

Woodhall Spa Duathlon

Morning all, here are the routes for this Sunday, 18th Feb:

Due to the state of the small rounds around Stixwould we're going to do an out and back as we arrive at Stixwould, see the cut out in the bike route image; I'll explain this on the morning.

Cost: £5:00

Timings are as always:
8:00 - 8:25 - register. This is in the car park at Jubilee Park
8:30 - start. Time to enjoy yourselves :-)

Remember, these are fun, informal and friendly sessions for you to enjoy and to gain any kind of aim that you have. This could be training for something specific, a specific aspect of multi sport, complementary to your current training, bit of fun or simply another means to get fit. The main emphasis is fun and social.

Weather not looking too bad either :-)

Morning all, don't forget, start the New Years Eve celebrations with a bit of a morning blast at the duathlon on Sunday.

Timings as normal:
8:00 - 8:30 registration
8:30 start

Normal format and fun.

Weather is looking just right for it, may be a little damp but it'll still be fun. However, although not compulsory, it may be an idea to have some lights on your bikes, not to see but to be seen.

Well done everyone this morning, and happy birthday to Mark (what better way to start your birthday morning than doing a fun duathlon; almost perfect weather for it as well. Plus great to see Jerry here for the first time :-)

Woodhall Spa Duathlon

Morning everyone, whether it's triathlon, duathlon, or any other aspect of multi sport, I hope your training is going to plan.

I'm looking at running the next Woodhall Spa Duathlon this Sunday, 17th December. So, if you're planning on being there could you let me know :-)

These are fun and informal sessions that are there to either help compliment your current training, practice any aspect of your multi sport aims, or just to get fit; however, the main aim is just to have fun.

Cost: £5:00

Timings are as follows:

8.00am register, this is done in the main carpark opposite the pool entrance.
8.30am start

We'll keep to the normal format of (will post routes a little later):

Run 1 - 5 laps around the park (approx 2.1 miles)

Bike - 2 laps around Stixwold (approx 9.75 miles).
This can be completed on either your road bike, or you could use, if you have one, your mountain bike. It may be heavier which means you may be a little slower, but think of the benefit you'll gain from it ;-)

Run 2 - 3 laps around the park (approx 1.3 miles)
