'The New Show Field' at Woodhall Spa.

The intention of Woodhall Spa Country Show Committee is to be as inclusive of as
many aspects of rural activities, pursuits and interests as possible, to encourage
and promote a greater understanding of the values and traditions of country life,
as well as contributing to it continuing development and growth. The event has grown considerably since the re-launch in 2006 and a new site,
only a lit

tle further along 'Green Lane' of much larger capacity was taken, with adjacent
more extensive car parking for visitors.

Woodhall Spa County Show needs your help. Due to the retirement of some hard-working volunteers, we need new blood. Help is needed in various area of the show. Both in setting up in advance and in organising the event. Without such help we may not be able to continue this valuable part of Woodhall’s Heritage. If you are interested please DM us or contact our Acting Chairman Robin Dennett ([email protected]) or drop into the AGM at Abbey Lodge on 11th October at 7.30pm.

Morning everyone, the setting up is going well, just a couple of reminders...

* Gates open today(Sat) at 1200-1800 for anyone wanting to come and set up today.

*Gates open at 0600 (Sun) for access to the show field for all traders, vehicles not staying on stands must be off the field and in the carpark by 0845.

*Public Gates open 0930 (Sun)

We politely ask all traders to have their vehicle passes hanging in their window before they arrive at the gate and that they wear their wristbands or have their tickets ready to be scanned at the gate to avoid delays at the entrance.

*Dogs are allowed on the show field and must be kept on leads, under no circumstances must dogs be left unattended in vehicles.

*we ask when entering the carpark you follow the directions given by the security/stewarding staff so as to keep traffic on the road and in the village moving as best as possible and for the safety of others using the carpark.

*Arriving early will not guarantee you a parking space near the front/entrance due to the layout of the carpark.

*Disabled parking is available for blue badge holders only, this should be displayed in your window so you can be directed to the designated area of the carpark.

The weather is looking perfect for Sunday! Come and join us at the Woodhall Spa Country Show 2024. What's on? Livestock judging (sheep and cattle), live music all day, food and drink, local trade stands, browse the craft and heritage marquees, wander through the vintage bicycles, cars and tractors, and enjoy main ring entertainment all day with a BMX display, falconry, a shire horse display, carriage driving and meet the friendly basset hounds
