This is an exciting volunteering opportunity to support our local music festival by creating content for our social media channel. You will select images and videos of the acts, learn how to create and engaging social media planner and understand how to schedule posts.
We will give you all the training and support you need so you will develop your skills as part of our team. You don’t need to have any experience.
This role usually requires 2 – 4 hours per week from May/June onwards.
As a Social Media Volunteer you’ll develop skills that boost your confidence.
* Improve your communication skills in this public-facing role
* Put your creativity to good use by making exciting content
* Using Canva to create branded designs
* Promote local music acts and our beloved festival.
Along with learning all about this role, you can branch out and try other things. Whether it’s about taking an editing videos during the festivals, creating picture presentations or reporting from behind the scenes - the sky is the limit.
