Floating Cloud Ceiling Installation and the Floor Growing Meadow (re-purposed from the ceremony… see our last post) to frame the top table.

Mini urns, compote bowls, stem vases with delicate pastel textures. Oodles of muted toned candles for that dreamy, ambient light, and yes all tied with delicate ribbon 🎀. (Note to all floral designers and stylists out there… the bows take forever and nope… they do not stop the wax dripping onto your candlesticks so you still have the hours of cleaning after…not what I hoped)!

The dreamiest deconstructed arch to design. Carefully curated with impactful, texture rich flowers and foliage for drama, for wedding wow. A stunning entrance to welcome your wedding guests, and the archway where you will be celebrated by your guests as a brand new married couple, walking into your new life together 🤍

This beautiful arch was re-purposed after ceremony and used to frame the doorway to The Green Room, where the party really got started later. (Swipe to see)

The meadow growing floor design leading to the arch, was also re-purposed to elevate the top table and VIP guests (more on that in our next post)!

🍾🥂10 YEAR BIRTHDAY🥂🍾

I can’t believe it’s 10 years since Enchanted was “sown” and I definitely didn’t think then that she would “bloom” into this gorgeous business.
Back then, I lacked faith, confidence and belief in myself.

Our story.

I didn’t always make flowers as a career, but was always in customer service, training, sales, & management I have always tinkered with flowers and was born creative.

I started to officially learn floristry later in life, but had to quit college as my gorgeous dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer & wanted to care for him. I had started the business at this point, but I was very new & panicked as I had not become fully qualified. I am however, very headstrong & determined (a gift and a curse to my family members and close friends)! I immersed myself in learning. It has been a 10 year learning curve & I will never stop learning.

A wedding business takes years to build, you don’t make a living for years, (I sold faux flowers and my belongings on eBay because I wasn’t making money for the first few years)
It is all consuming, majorly stressful, you have to sacrifice family time, the summer, your social life.
We have gone through & managed Covid; moving over 100 weddings, dealing with the emotions and heartbreak of couples…the worst and hardest time in business & I cried ALOT! I also got hacked and lost my instagram account 2 years ago along with 8k followers, lots of business, I cried ALOT! Started that again from scratch!
I still absolutely love what I do, I love my amazing couples and families who I work with, I love the creativity, flowers, I love the challenges of always adapting to new techniques, staying on top of my craft! I am fiercely proud of where we are today! I know my dad would be too, he was my biggest supporter and cheerleader and still now every wedding I book, I thank him for believing in me when I didn’t!

10 years of love, help, support & encouragement from my amazing family & friends with out you all (especially and Mr D) we would not be 10 today! Everyone who I love helps!

The new Mr and Mrs Cato 🤍married in the Main House at

It’s no secret that spring flowers are my absolute favourite, it’s as if Mother Nature just opened her treasure chest after a long winter and tells me to “go wild”!

The colours, the textures, the varieties available is a designers heaven, and Kate and Andy’s wedding was a treat. Tonal delights of Peaches, apricots, clay tones with soft whites and creams with textured and airy flowers of poppy, ranunculus, sweet peas and the fluffiest lisi were some of my floral ingredients

Delicate bridal party flowers, grand urns and floor meadows for ceremony, dainty compote bowls with stem vases for the banqueting tables and 5 floating clouds in the marquee.

Oh the ambiance of soft lilac and dusky mauve candles with those highly trending bows on, the delicate compote bowls and cut glass stem vases of textured, spring flowers in soft pastel tones for an elegant and timeless look.

The floor growing meadow with billowing blooms and delicate foliage “climbing” up the top table (and re-purposed from the ceremony…we always advise this to our couples) .

The Floating Cloud Flowers, creating both maximum impact as guests walk into the wedding breakfast and framing the VIP guests on the top table. (I’m a sucker for a hanging installation and a door arch🌸)

🌸Daisy and Jonny (Part 1)🌸

The Arch… it began its journey at The Priory and was still looking beautiful at yesterday at the entrance to The Green room for Sunday lunch 🌸

This weekend we kicked off our wedding season with one of our lovely boys and now daughter in laws wedding at the stunning

A celebration which started on Friday and continued until last night. And what a weekend it was! The food, the celebrating, the dancing, the fun and I can hand on heart say as both a family member and a wedding supplier that Jess, Mark and every member of staff made it a weekend to remember. It was magical!
We could not recommend highly enough 💕, thank you x

As well as us designing the flowers and styling, I worked with the most incredible suppliers over the weekend.

Chloe from designed all of the stationery from save the dates to beautiful table stationery and welcome and table plan boards. We liaised with each other to get those gorgeous flowers and designs to look perfect.
violinist gave us all major goosebumps and tears as she played beautifully in the priory and service.

is not only amazing to work along side, she also produces the most stunning photography and very importantly makes a couple feel so at ease even if they don’t feel comfortable getting snapped!

supplied PA system and the most fabulous Photo Booth for their guest book, that will be forever looked over as fun memories were made by all of the crazy guests!

Catering by @19.01_catering The food was divine on the day of the wedding and also at the intimate Sunday lunch for family and friends yesterday. It really was first class!

❓Have you ever inadvertently forgotten to reply to a wedding supplier that you reached out to for information or a quotation?

I want ti be honest; of late, I’ve had so many colleagues in the wedding industry share their experiences of being ‘ghosted’ after responding to enquiries or providing quotes in the past few weeks.

🫶 Tonight, I’d like to gently remind everyone: if you’re reaching out to suppliers or indeed venues for information and quotes for your wedding, *please* don’t leave them in the dark. If the quote isn’t right for you, if you’ve chosen another supplier/venue, or if you’re not able or ready to commit or even if you’ve simply changed your mind — just let them know. It’s a sign of respect and courtesy during your wedding planning.

Remember, the suppliers you’re contacting are often small businesses for whom every client counts. The start of 2024 has been challenging for many in our field, and we’re all feeling the pinch from the cost of living and rising expenses. That’s why it’s vital for these entrepreneurs to be able to forecast their earnings accurately. It’s more than just courtesy; it’s essential for their sustainability — I can’t emphasise this enough.

If you’ve recently asked for a quote from any wedding service provider, please extend them the courtesy of a response once they get back to you. A simple acknowledgment like ‘Thank you, but we’ve decided to go in a different direction,’ or ‘Your work is wonderful, but unfortunately, it’s out of our budget at the moment,’ goes a long, long way. They will completely understand, I promise you.

Also, bear in mind that if another client is ready to book on the spot, a supplier may not be able to hold your date indefinitely.

It’s OK to say ‘No, thank you’ - but it’s really not OK to ghost. Let’s practice kindness and empathy towards the dedicated network of small, creative businesses in our wedding industry. No more ghosting, please! ❌👻

That’s a wrap for 2023!

Thank you so much to our amazing couples and customers who we have worked with in 2023, we have loved every second. My job and working with you all really is an absolute joy and my pride and joy. We hope you have the most amazing first Christmas married…the first of many, many happy years.
2024 and 2025 couples we are so, so excited for your weddings and I’m already chomping at the bit to get my first flower delivery in 😂

We took our 2 meter Moongate to Cumbria today (as well as a full van of flowers), to this beautiful venue which we first saw 2 years ago (pre covid) when it had just started to get built. We loved it then when it was a shell and we have been so excited to get here today…it’s been a long wait. Congratulations Ellie and Simon, your long awaited day was certainly worth the wait 💫🥂❤️

Our last two days have consisted of making; 2 brides bouquets 12 bridesmaids 3 flower girls 23 button holes 3 corsages 6 thank you bouquets 1 fireplace flowers 2 ceremony/top table 2 Staircase flowers 26 centrepiece florals Decorating 2 wisteria trees 1 Persian ceremony table 🥰 We are now off for a very early night to get ready for more weekend gorgeousness 😴😴🥰 Happy Friday everyone ###

Back to beautiful weddings today, and this was wedding number 2! A little sneaky peek of today’s wedding...I can’t even tell you how happy we were today filling a beautiful venue with dreamy, scented blooms. And I think you all know how much we love a staircase to design. This spiralled beauty was an utter delight 💓 A gorgeous and intimate wedding for our gorgeous couple, who finally got to say their vows to each other, surrounded by their precious loved ones!
