We recently visited and toured the event facilities at the Royal Lancaster London. Boasting a prime location, just a stone’s throw from Lancaster Gate station and Hyde Park with close proximity to Paddington Station!

One of the standout features of the hotel’s event spaces is the variety and flexibility on offer. The largest space, the Nine Kings suite, is grand and sophisticated, with natural light, high ceilings, and a capacity for 1,000-1500 guests. With its own private entrance and many options available for branding. A second ballroom space, The Westbourne Suite can also accommodate 900-1500 guests – meaning it’s the perfect conference venue to transition between day/evening events.

7 additional spaces in the hotel boast floor to ceiling windows and striking views over Hyde Park and can accommodate meetings, private dining and smaller conferences from 6-150 guests in a variety of layouts. The award-winning restaurant, Nipa Thai, is also available for private dinners and events.

Last week saw us manage our first event of 2025 - the Annual Afternoon Tea with TIPTO - the Truly Independent Professional Travel Organisation! The 11th year hosting this informal and enjoyable networking afternoon for 60 key stakeholders!

Held at the Sanderson Hotel, guests enjoyed a sparkling reception in the Billiard Room, with its stunning back lit stained glass wall, before a delectable ‘Mad Hatters’ themed afternoon tea in the bright and airy Gallery, complete with ‘drink me’ potions and candy floss!

As secretariat, we operate all the day-to-day account management, business development, budgeting, finance, website management, social activity, PR, and of course, full event and guest management for TIPTO!

Happy New Year! 🎉🥂🍾 2024 ended as another fantastic year to remember! Delivering over 40 events across all of our clients, including roadshows, dinners, hotel launches, awards ceremonies, trade fayres and corporate hospitality days, plus working with many more nationwide properties with our free venue sourcing service!

As appointed secretariat of TIPTO - Truly Independent Professional Travel Organisation, we start the year with 2 brand new members joining the trade marketing group, taking membership up to the maximum capacity of 25 tour operators/travel suppliers, and we look forward to our first 2025 event in 2 weeks time - one of our favourites - the Annual TIPTO Afternoon Tea!

A huge thank you to all of our clients, past and present for aiding in our growth and trusting us to be a part of your extended team! 2025 looks set to be another action packed year for us as we come into our 4th year of trading with 26 events already in the diary for the first 6 months! Let's go!

Last month it was Bolton’s turn for the fantastic TIPTO SuperShow!
107 agent attendees enjoyed a welcome reception, the supplier trade fayre with 21 TIPTO supplier members, dinner, and some fun stage entertainment featuring The Singing Waiters and The Live Music Quiz! We also welcomed Stacey and Shannon from Reuben's Retreat as our chosen charity partner and we presented some amazing prizes on the night!

Friday saw host our fabulous clients, colleagues and friends at the annual Legendary AWTE Christmas Lunch, celebrating 70 years! 🥂🍾

The AWTE - Association of Women Travel Executives is a super organisation offering networking and development opportunities within the travel industry! We’ve made many beneficial business contacts over the years as a member.

We’re delighted to work alongside Jane and the team at AWTE with our free venue finding service… this year connecting them with the beautiful Church House Westminster. What a venue! 😯

Yesterday the whole of Team Spirit undertook the ‘Emergency First Aid at Work’ course, to benefit both the office team at Spirit Executive and the Spirit Marketing & Events team when offsite. With a huge thank you to Emily Payne of GJP Health for the fantastic training, which included:

🔵How to help someone who is unresponsive
🔵How to recognise and treat heart attacks, administer CPR and use a defibrillator
🔵How to help someone who is choking or having a seizure
🔵How to help someone who is suffering from a burn or bleed and how to dress a wound

A great investment and a valuable skill, both professionally and personally and we’d highly recommend GJP Health to deliver training. You never know when we might need it… but hopefully we never will! 🤞

We enjoyed an evening of meeting new people, hearing about the fabulous hotels, and of course the fun competitive darts!
