WHAT’S ON? | Dinosaurs are returning to the city centre this summer! 🦖🦕

The Hereford City Life team are excited to confirm that they will be bringing back the popular Hereford Dino Trail and delivering more dino fun for families during the summer holidays. Get ready to roam with raptors and embrace your inner palaeontologist!

The interactive Hereford Dino Trail, which last year saw over 175 families taking part, will run from 26th July until 3rd August on the LoyalFree app. Use the app to explore Hereford and uncover prehistoric facts before collecting a prize from Hereford Tourist Information Centre. As an extra special addition to this year’s trail, each location will have its own dinosaur themed window illustrations too!

Building on last year’s successful Dino Days, the trail will be once again complemented by two fabulous family event days. On 19th August, Hereford City Life will be hosting their dinosaur activities on Cathedral Close as part of Hereford Cathedral’s Saturday Spectacular, followed on 26th August, by a Dino Day extravaganza in High Town. These two events will include Dinosaur stage performances, live music, roaming dinosaurs and a prehistoric mural workshop!

Rhiannon Burns, Marketing Manager for Hereford City Life commented, “we are thrilled to be able to bring back even more dinosaur fun to the city centre this summer. We hope to encourage families to spend more time in our beautiful city and discover all the incredible things on offer. We are proud to be working so closely with great local organisations, including Hereford Cathedral to make this summer extra special!”

We had great fun outside the Guildhall in Worcester last weekend.
Although we were taking the dinosaurs to a birthday party in The Guildhall, they couldn't resist a sneaky walk down the High Street before the party!!

Well... we've been extremely busy looking after the dinosaurs in the current heatwave, but have still found time to take them out to meet their friends.
Here's a few pictures of them meeting the lovely people of Hereford last Saturday.
Don't forget they are back on the 20th August at The Old Market, Hereford from 10am until 3pm, promoting the fantastic Dino Trail activity.

Our dinosaurs are ready to be shipped to us all the way from China!!
We estimate that the shipping container will take about 4 weeks to get to us here in the UK.
We are so excited and cannot wait to welcome our ferocious friends!!!

New for 2022....

Have you ever wanted to meet a real life sized dinosaur?

At over 2.2 mtrs tall and 4 mtrs in length, our velociraptor is probably the nearest you'll ever come to meeting a real life dinosaur.

Built by the same animatronic engineers that created the dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park movie franchise, our dinosaurs are the real deal!!

But of course, to get to adult life size raptors, there has to be a breeding program.
We also have 2 baby dinosaurs that love to eat, sorry....MEET their guests, both young and old.
Again built by the same engineers that worked on the Jurassic Park movies.
We have baby blue, a young Velociraptor, who thinks he is as big and fierce as his older sibling, but in reality, he is a little softee.
Then we have our baby Triceratops, currently unamed, but will definitely be a huge hit with our our younger customers, with her vibrant colours... a real little heart breaker... you have been warned!!

All of our dinosaurs can interact with the public, with full head movements, including moving mouths that expose their razor sharp teeth, blinking eyes and of course thunderous roaring sound effects for added realism.

Our dinosaurs will be available from early Spring onwards to attend events such as birthday celebrations, product launches, educational visits, corporate hospitality work, TV and film appearances, festivals and fetes and fairs.
