For more information please visit our website. It's a known fact that Worcester's beautiful Guildhall has received its fair share of Royal patronage over its long history; many will remember Queen Elizabeth's visit in 2000 but how about King George III on a sunny day in August 1788? Along with Queen Charlotte and three of the princesses, he pronounced the Assembly Room on the top floor of The Guil

dhall - 'a handsome gallery' and drank a toast to 'prosperity to the city and the Corporation of Worcester'. The portrait of the King - still hanging in the Assembly Room today - was presented by him to the city to commemorate his visit. But it’s not just royalty that can take advantage of one of the city's most beautiful buildings! Available to hire for up to 200 guests, The Guildhall is a perfect venue for a variety of occasions. The Guildhall has its own wedding license and is available to hire as a wedding venue. Being one of the most iconic buildings in Worcester, the Guildhall could be the perfect venue for you. If you have any enquiries about hiring the Guildhall, please contact us on [email protected] or 01905 722308.
