I’ve had a lot of new followers over the past few weeks—perhaps newly engaged couples or those planning events for 2025—so I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself and Country Wild, and share why we love weddings and events so much.

Country Wild began in 2015, and our very first wedding took place at in Worcestershire. It felt like fate, as the house had once belonged to someone well known to my family.

Before Country Wild I built a career in marketing, PR, and events, working with incredible brands like Nike, Converse, and L’Oréal, as well as retailers selling Joules, Hunter, and Barbour. I loved every moment of it, but after 15 years and the desire to start a family, I knew the long hours and intense demands of that world weren’t the right fit anymore.

Now, everything has come full circle. I still get my creative event-planning fix, but instead of working for brands, I work for you! I pour my perfectionist nature into every detail—beautiful fresh flowers, stunning accessories, and thoughtful packaging—so whether you’re booking Country Wild for an event or purchasing from our website, you can trust that everything will be of the highest quality and beautifully presented.

At the heart of it all, we want you to be overjoyed with our service and the quality of our work. We want you to love what we create, recommend us to others, and come back again and again. Because for us, it’s not just about flowers—it’s about making something truly special for you.

Happy Birthday to the Princess of Wales who celebrates her birthday today.

One of the most beautiful Royal weddings ever. Who can forget that stunning lace sleeved gown and her gorgeous bouquet of Lily of the Valley. Such an elegant combination.

Ombersley Court is such an elegant and grand location for a wedding. We love working at this venue and incorporating floral designs that complement the beautiful surroundings; the tall ceilings the grand entrances and the stunning decor.

Attention to detail and creating designs that really fit into their surroundings is such an important part of our work. We spend a lot of time planning our creations, visiting venues, measuring spaces and sketching designs and concepts.

It takes months to plan a design, particularly for a wedding or a large event and we love the process of planning something elegant and totally unique. We are total perfectionists when it comes to weddings and creating flowers beyond your wildest dreams.

All of our Christmas Wreath Making Classes are now available to book and we will be working from a variety of locations during November and early December.

As always we will be working with the very best seasonal foliage including eucalyptus, pittosporum, ferns and bay.

We will have beautiful on trend Christmas accessories and ribbons to complete your wreath.

Everybody leaves the class with a beautiful Christmas Wreath for their home and many of you return year after year to come and get creative at Christmas.

The perfect addition to a marquee or tipi - or any space with a vast ceiling. They encourage guests to look up, they add interest and the wow factor. They mean you don’t have to go crazy with table decor so guests can chat and mingle without flowers obscuring the view.

The beautiful in Claverley has an open day today. It’s a venue I love and definitely worth a look if you’re dreaming of an outdoor ceremony in a really cool woodland setting.

Wow, that was a long decade wasn’t it?! Not sure I’ve known a longer January in fact, but the sun was shining today and the snowdrops are in bloom and it feels like Spring might just be on its way at last.

I’ve been absent from here for way too long; technical issues with the phone is all I can say. iPhones are good until they’re not good - which is usually after a few years and a few 1000 photos. So here we are. New month, new phone and raring to go.

I thought it was a good time to share some photos from previous weddings i’ve (we’ve) flowered. Because I can! Phone wouldn’t let me do this before so it’s a rare treat to be able to share some of the gorgeous professional photos that the very kind photographers share with me.

This was a gorgeous August wedding with lots of beautiful blousy blooms, soft pastels and statement designs. My favourite sort of flowers ❤️

Delighted to see Emily Scott’s Coastal Christmas Wreath hanging on her door.

This wreath making kit was inspired by the walk we take from Mawgan Porth over to Watergate Bay where Emily’s beautiful restaurant was based until recently.
