The perfect addition to a marquee or tipi - or any space with a vast ceiling. They encourage guests to look up, they add interest and the wow factor. They mean you don’t have to go crazy with table decor so guests can chat and mingle without flowers obscuring the view.

Have you thought about having a flower cloud or hanging installation for your marquee wedding?

Here’s some photos from some weddings I’ve done there. It’s a really beautiful place ❤️

It’s been a while since I’ve posted here and throughout the month of March I’ve been taking part in Joanne Hawker Design & Illustration its a initiative to raise awareness of creative businesses and an opportunity to share a bit more about what we do.
Today the theme was challenges and I have written about the challenges of Covid and how it affected the wedding industry.
This beautiful wedding was postponed several times but was more than worth the wait. Such a gorgeous day to be involved with and flowers to create ❤️

Wow, that was a long decade wasn’t it?! Not sure I’ve known a longer January in fact, but the sun was shining today and the snowdrops are in bloom and it feels like Spring might just be on its way at last.

I’ve been absent from here for way too long; technical issues with the phone is all I can say. iPhones are good until they’re not good - which is usually after a few years and a few 1000 photos. So here we are. New month, new phone and raring to go.

I thought it was a good time to share some photos from previous weddings i’ve (we’ve) flowered. Because I can! Phone wouldn’t let me do this before so it’s a rare treat to be able to share some of the gorgeous professional photos that the very kind photographers share with me.

This was a gorgeous August wedding with lots of beautiful blousy blooms, soft pastels and statement designs. My favourite sort of flowers ❤️

We are over here nursing coughs and colds and hoping to be well for new year. Fortunately this little pup of ours gives very good cuddles ✨✨

Delighted to see Emily Scott’s Coastal Christmas Wreath hanging on her door.

This wreath making kit was inspired by the walk we take from Mawgan Porth over to Watergate Bay where Emily’s beautiful restaurant was based until recently.

It’s an absolute joy to see what she’s created with our wreath making kit 🌿

Scroll across for the detail.

Of course this isn’t this years wreath. It’s an unwritten rule that ours is always the very last wreath to come off the production line using any of the bits and pieces we have left, or armfuls of foliage from the garden.

Sometimes I make a wreath for us early on but always give it away. What fun are flowers anyway if not for other people to have. That’s the beauty of them and why I wanted to work with them in the first place.

So probably by Christmas Eve our wreath will be ready and on this door. One thing that will remain the same is that it will be wild and unstructured, full of texture and berries and the bow will definitely be floppy. Love a floppy bow.

A few highlights from a great week. Lots of hard work but lots of smiling faces too which is what it’s all about. Christmas is probably my favourite time of year so naturally it’s all about sharing the Christmas love and creativity.

For about the 999th time I’ve changed the user name of my account. It’s been mrsjpage since 2012 and it just feels like that’s kind of like the funny old aol usernames or something. As much as I was fine with it, it just feels the right time to move on. So this time it’s staying as the content will be the same, just a different name.

Ramble over! Have a great Saturday evening.
I’m taking it steady with a mulled wine and a dog on my lap. It’s been a busy day as I was over in Rugby watching my youngest niece in her annual dance show. They were absolutely fantastic.

Country Wild + Eden Yoga Studio

You can’t get more zen than an afternoon of yoga and wreath making.

Using sustainable materials we created beautiful festive wreaths while sipping mocktails and munching on homemade mince pies.

A midwinter retreat with a difference. Thank you for inviting us along

Words to live by this December and the words in the bottom sentence are just the words I needed to hear when I was reaching the end of 2014 and knew I needed to make a change and step into the unknown.

I can’t believe it will be ten years next year since I first met Rachel from Tallulah Rose Flower School and and suddenly everything began to make sense ❤️🌿

Country Wild has evolved steadily since our first wedding in the spring of 2015. It’s given me the time to learn, refine how I do things and most importantly flower some of the most beautiful weddings and events. It’s always a privilege to be involved in such a special day and the buzz and excitement I get from my work will never get old. I just love it ❤️

Coastal Christmas 🌊🌿

Inspired by bracing coastal walks, a warm day spent by the sea, time spent with family and the beautiful colours you see when you spend time on the coastline in England.

Silver grey foliage, wispy leaves of eucalyptus, sparkling stars and deep navy ribbon.

Hello December ✨

One of my favourite months of the year. So much fun and sparkle. It’s always a month that makes me think of my Dad too. He loved Christmas and all the sparkle and decorations, late nights, laughs, Christmas trees so huge you wonder how you’ll ever fit them in the car.

I remember him telling me about one of his favourite Decembers when he was sat on the bus coming out of Birmingham. He would have only been young at the time and heading back to meet my Mum at her parents house.

He sat there looking out at the lights and the sights of the city from an old red bus, soaking up the moment and feeling truly happy and content.

Dad knew how to be in the moment and appreciate the little things that are difficult define but you feel them in your bones and in your heart. Happiness washing over you and making you feel alive.

It’s not found in expensive gifts and elaborate gestures, and that’s something my Dad taught me a long time ago ✨

Wishing you a December to remember that’s full of lots of little moments that bring joy and happiness

I absolutely love to see what you create in our classes and with wreath making kits.

Everybody creates something different and puts their own creative flair into what they design.

This gorgeously wild and whimsy wreath with all the red berries and deep red ribbon is just gorgeous.

Thank you to the lovely group of ladies who booked me for a private wreath making party last night. There’s no better way to get the Christmas festivities started ✨🎄✨

Which colours remind you of a traditional Christmas?

At the classes you all said deep reds, greens and golds. The smell of fir tree and the warmth of a hot chocolate on a cold day.

This is one of my favourite colour palettes too. It just says Christmas to me.

How about you?

This gorgeous wreath was made during one of our wreath making classes yesterday and I just had to share it.

When I heard about the turquoise door I knew it was going to look out of this world cool hanging in its new home. Thank you so much for sharing the photos and your kind words about the class too 🥰

I love how everybody designs something different in our wreath making classes. No two wreaths are the same and everybody fills them with their own creative energy and flair.

It’s so wonderful to see and it makes me so happy to know I’m sharing the festive joy and helping so many of you to create something beautiful and personal to you at Christmas time 🥰🥰
