New cafe opening in Carlisle,clothing Rockitt Home.
So earlier in the week I put a post out explaining something new is on the way ❤️❤️❤️
So here we go………
From Friday 4th March for the whole month MWDs bakery is doing a tea room takeover 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
We will be taking over the hidden tea room inside Rockit Home which is on Cecil street and the picture posted is the entrance to the building.
This building is also special to me as my Grandads brother ran his very successful antique shop in here back in the day❤️
Nervous, excited and my head is buzzing but to be given an opportunity like this from the lovely Ursh who’s business it is who has given me the chance to make this work.
To start MWDs bakery will bring you all the sweet treats I produce the moment along with some new lines and twists. We will be a licensed tea rooom so we can serve all kind of refreshments from teas and coffees to loaded milkshakes and cocktails 🍸
Keep a look out for lots of posts and snippets over the next month and I really hope you all will support me like you have with MWDs bakery as I really want to make this work and bring something a little different to Carlisle.
So what dos this mean for MWDs Bakery??
For now no changes will be made we will still supply to the shops for as long as they want us too and the demand for the products is there, we will still take on private orders and sell taster boxes weekly, we will just work very differently internally to ensure service is never affected.
The huge positive for you as customers is you will be able to get single slices of cake and I will have a bigger range daily to buy, so if you don’t want a box or full tray then it’s perfect for you to pop in and we will offer both a sit down and takeaway service.
After the month is up and if we make it a success then we will take this on full time and then the two businesses will become separate and the tea room will be relaunched under a new name and MWDs will continue.
This leads me on to my next exciting news 🫶
Currently it’s just me and my amazing parents that help me so will I be able to juggle and manage it all realistically probably not so in the next few weeks I might need to take someone on part time and welcome them into my little business.
Creep before you crawl they say and that’s exactly what I’m going to do I’m starting small and want to make this big but I’ll only be able to do this with your support. You helped me grow MWDs bakery and I know you’ll help me do this and like always I’m
