Sarah recently photographed our wedding over Easter weekend in North Norfolk. In the months of planning before, I’d looked through hundreds and hundreds of photographers before finding Sarah.

Her images had something that grabbed me, the lighting, the natural and not-too-posed, the candid shots. They were and all are beautiful. So, we were very, very happy when Sarah came back to us to say she could make our date!

On the day question, and it was just brilliant having her there, not only to take the photographs, but also just for general wedding-knowledge and nerve calming. She felt more like a very welcome guest than anything else! We had a laid-back kind of wedding and being new to this whole getting-married-thing and not having had any kind of planner involved, Sarah was on hand for me to ask her advice over all sorts of little things!

So, not only an AMAZING photographer but a general all-around brilliant person to have with you on what can be a pretty weird, crazy intense and emotional day. One thing nobody ever said to me before we got married is how important those memories are to you afterwards. Sounds stupid, but you get so caught up in the planning and making it great, you don’t think about afterwards that much.

Afterwards, you want to savour every little and big memory you have, every photograph, every special memento. That’s why having these beautiful photographs are SO important to us. Our gallery and every photo is just dreamy; more than we expected. The quality of them, the light, the colours…it sounds stupid because obviously Sarah is good at what she does…she’s a professional!

But we were really blown away by the beauty of some of them…they are works of art. For a one-woman-operation, with a busy work schedule and a family life of her own I am in awe at how Sarah does it.

Her kindness, warmth and communication were always brilliant, keeping in contact in the build-up and afterwards too.

THANK YOU SARAH, you are an absolute gem and we are so grateful for you documenting our incredible, magical day so very well.

We're bringing you something else.... Who would like a photoshoot?

The Woof Hub have teamed up with Folega Photography to offer you wonderful people a personalised photoshoot with your dog. You can just have photos of your pooch (or pooches maximum 2 dogs per family) or you can add your immediate family in too.

Location : The Woof Hub
When : Sunday 20th March
Time : Varied time slots allocated at the time of booking
Cost : £120 per family

Each shoot will last 1 hour and include 10 6x4 prints of your choice with access to an online gallery to purchase further images or downloads.

Sarah will be on hand to help position your dogs, get their attention and ensure they capture all their best sides! We'll have props and toys, making sure it's all all round incredible experience.

Essential last minute prep! 🤩

I’ve shot enough weddings now to know that time gets away from you when you are getting ready for your wedding. It’s all pretty chilled & then before you know it there’s a last minute dash to finish off.

That’s one of the reasons why I don’t pose you when you are getting ready. I’m there, capturing what’s happening as it’s happening & letting you just get on with it! 🎉

You know when you are just having one of those days where you don’t have a clue what day it actually is?!! That’s me all this week!

Monday was a bank holiday & the kids were off school, that made Tuesday feel like Monday. Tomorrow they are off school because it’s being used a polling station for the local elections.

I have no idea what day Friday is going to feel like 😂

I’ve also set a reminder on my phone to tell me NOT to take the kids to school tomorrow! 🤣

Let’s be honest, no one wants to take part in boring group shots! As a mostly documentary wedding photographer I used to loathe doing them, I’m not going to lie. Now, I love them! That’s not to say I want you to give me a list of hundreds of group combos - I don’t! However, a few, really important group shots can be fun & look spontaneous rather than stuffy.

It’s easy, gather your loved ones, talk to each other (only happy convos though 😉 so you are 😃) or listen to me prattle on with some random banter that either makes you laugh at me or with me - I don’t care which 🤣
