🌟 Fundraising For St Barnabas House 🌟

Thank you for being a part of the Adur & Worthing Business Awards! We hope everyone who joined us on Friday night had a fantastic evening celebrating the achievements of our local business community.

This year, we’re also honoured to support our Charity Partner, St Barnabas House. Their amazing team provides essential end-of-life care to patients and offers invaluable support to their families during the most challenging times. St Barnabas relies on the kindness of donors to sustain this crucial work, and every contribution, big or small, helps make it possible.

It's not often that Elizabeth and Tim are seen in the same place at the same time, but thanks to Adur & Worthing Business Awards they had a fantastic time sponsoring and presenting the Award for Hospitality Tourism Leisure. Congratulations to Worthing Tap Takeover for highly Commended and Mindworks Escape Rooms as the winner. It was an incredible experience to share a night with all of the guests, nominees, winners, sponsors organisers and the wonderful food and entertainment. Here's to a year of incredible prosperity and support in the Adur and Worthing Community.

We have all had a much needed half term break and hope you have too. Liz and Tim adopted a dog 2 weeks ago and he is now a full time member of the office team. E&T Events have an exciting jam packed Autumn/Winter season ahead of us and we can't wait to share this time with you and sprinkle a little sparkle onto the next few months. Everyone ready for Halloween tomorrow? 🎃 The team are putting the last of our Halloween party packs together and have an installation to finish for a party tomorrow. The website store is sold out of Halloween apart from 1 item. Thank you for all of your support in the first year that we have fully included Halloween in our services and online shop.

A wonderful cause being supported by Little Hero Poppy!

Meet one of Turning Tides’ youngest supporters, Poppy. 🌟

Next week Poppy will be giving up her bed for the night in exchange for a sleeping bag and a hot water bottle in her garden, aiming to raise £250 to support those sleeping rough.

Poppy’s commitment goes far beyond her DIY SleepOut. Recently she has written notes of support at home and given them out to anyone she sees in town. She even spent her birthday money buying a blanket for someone! 💝

Poppy says “I want to do my own Sleep Out to raise money for people without a home. I think that it must be really tough and cold to sleep outside at night without a warm safe place to go. A lot of people that are homeless aren't noticed and I want to change that because they are people like you and me, and they all have a story.”

A huge thank you to you, Poppy, for your support, kindness and compassion. Turning Tides is so grateful for big-hearted people like you, and we think you will go on to help many more. 🩷🩷
