When your colleague is a big open water swimming fan, its easy to choose the theme for their retirement cake! Victoria sponge with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream, with a sparkly shimmer all over and biscuit crumble sand. Wishing you lots of fun and frolics Julia! 🏊‍♀️

Cricket season is in full swing again 🏏 This week they were treated to some homemade bread pudding. How on earth they play after eating a chunk of this I'll never know! A good old traditional bake bursting with raisins, sultanas, cranberries and warming spices. 😋

It's the first day of Autumn apparently so this scrumptious Apple traybake with cinnamon, caramelised apple and crumble topping seemed a very appropriate bake! 🍂 Delicious warm with custard, or cold with a cuppa ☕️
It would make a delicious dessert to follow a Sunday roast. Message to order 😊

The last league home game for Lancing Manor Cricket Club today so a busy day in the kitchen. I love experimenting with different flavour combinations but sometimes you just need a good old classic! Deep soft vanilla sponge topped with seedless raspberry jam and dessicated coconut. 😋😋😋

Just a couple of friendly matches and then I can hang my apron up for the year and start getting ready for..... 🎄🎅🎄(Sorry!)
