On Monday Laura Rusbridge and our Funeral Director Rebecca Doherty had the privilege to conduct the Funeral Service for a keen Metal Detectorist at Worthing Crematorium.
It was a beautiful service and the family had some of the gentleman's treasures that he had found over the years on display. Two of his special finds include an
Anglo-Saxon gold ring and coin which can be found in Chichester Museum.
In honour of his enthusiasm for metal detecting our wonderful florist Rachel at Greenfingers florist created this beautiful bespoke floral tribute, which incorporated his metal detector as the centre piece.
As the mourners left the Chapel Laura and Rebecca handed out Chocolate gold coins as token mementoes.
