Worthing, You Made This Possible – Rebecca’s Award Is for All of Us

We are truly humbled. 💙

Because of the families here in Worthing and the surrounding area who nominated her, our own Rebecca Doherty has been named Funeral Arranger of the Year 2025 at the national Good Funeral Awards—often called “the Oscars of the funeral profession.”

This award carries Rebecca’s name, but it is a reflection of the quiet dedication, care, and professionalism of our whole Rounce team, who walk alongside families at life’s most difficult moments every single day.

Most of all, this recognition belongs to the families who place their trust in us. Every kind word, every nomination, every moment of confidence you give us makes all the difference.

From our hearts to yours—thank you for letting us care for your loved ones and for letting us be part of your lives when it matters most.

She was known as the People’s Princess — but to so many, she simply felt like a friend.

Diana’s kindness, vulnerability, and courage made her not just admired, but truly loved.

She brought compassion to places that needed it most — hospitals, hospices, and the arms of those the world too often overlooked.

She walked through life with extraordinary grace, even in the harshest glare of public scrutiny.

Diana showed us that royalty could also mean empathy. That strength could look like softness. That legacy can live on not just in history, but in hearts.

Today, we remember Diana, Princess of Wales — radiant, vulnerable, iconic.

A reminder that a single life, lived with love, can touch millions.

If you remember where you were when you heard the news — or if her life meant something to you — you’re welcome to share your thoughts below.

He asked questions with curiosity, listened with care, and gave space for stories to unfold.

Michael Parkinson didn’t just interview people — he connected with them.

For decades, he brought some of the world’s biggest names into our living rooms — but it was his natural warmth, dry wit, and deep respect that made him unforgettable.

He never needed to dominate the spotlight. He let others shine, and in doing so, became a national treasure.

Parkinson was the voice of calm in a noisy world. A gentleman of journalism. A master of conversation.

Today, we remember Sir Michael Parkinson — warm, sharp, unshakeable.

A reminder that sometimes the greatest gift is simply to listen — and to make others feel heard.

If you remember watching his interviews — or one in particular that stayed with you — feel free to share your thoughts below.

He made us laugh — loud, hard, and often when we needed it most.

But Robin Williams also made us feel.

And that’s why we loved him.

With a mind that never stopped moving and a heart as big as his talent, he brought unforgettable joy to generations.

Whether he was a teacher, a genie, a nanny, or a doctor — behind every performance was a depth and tenderness that was unmistakably his.

Yet behind the laughter, there was pain — and Robin showed the world that even the brightest lights can flicker in the shadows.

Today, we remember Robin Williams — brilliant, fragile, beloved.

A reminder that kindness, humour, and humanity can leave a legacy that outlives sorrow.

If his work touched your life — or helped you through something — we’d be honoured if you shared your memories below.

She lit up every room she entered — not just with beauty and talent, but with gentleness, humour, and heart.

Olivia Newton-John was more than Sandy from Grease, more than a pop icon. She was a voice of hope for so many.

From her chart-topping songs to her screen presence, she brought joy and light to millions.

But it was her grace in the face of life’s toughest challenges that made her truly unforgettable.

Through decades of public courage and quiet compassion, Olivia became a symbol of resilience — proof that kindness and strength can go hand in hand.

Today, we remember Olivia Newton-John — radiant, resilient, loved.

A reminder that even the softest voices can leave the loudest echoes.

If you remember singing along to her songs, or if she touched your life in some way, feel free to share your thoughts below.

He didn’t shout for attention.

He didn’t chase the spotlight.

But when Alec Guinness stepped onto a stage or screen, something unforgettable happened.

With quiet intensity and flawless craft, he became a master of transformation — from troubled colonels to wise Jedi, from gentle priests to cold spies.

He never needed to be loud to be powerful.

Though millions remember him as Obi-Wan Kenobi, his legacy is far deeper — shaped by decades of subtle, brilliant storytelling.

A deeply private man, he brought hidden depths to the characters he played… and left behind a film legacy that continues to resonate.

Today, we remember Sir Alec Guinness — modest, masterful, immortal.

A reminder that you don’t need to be loud to leave an echo that lasts for generations.

If a performance of his stayed with you — or meant something to you — we’d love to hear your memories below.

She was the girl from Liverpool with the big voice, the big laugh, and the even bigger heart.

Cilla Black sang her way into stardom — but it was her warmth, wit, and openness that made her part of the nation’s living room.

From Top of the Pops to Surprise Surprise, she wasn’t just a star — she was a friend to millions.

Cheeky, charming, and unmistakably herself, Cilla never lost the spark that made people feel like they knew her.

But like so many bright lights, she also had her private struggles.

Still, what she gave the world was joy — and it’s that joy we remember today.

We remember Cilla Black — Golden, Beloved, Unfiltered.

A reminder that a kind heart and a big personality can leave a truly unforgettable legacy.

If you grew up watching or listening to Cilla — or if she brought a smile to your face — feel free to share your memories below.
