This has been an amazing couple of months for me! First the competition and now the UK Bronze Award for the Photographic Competition 2024. Held by the .

I am thrilled and very grateful.

I enjoyed creating this design with flowers, berries and jasmine from our garden.
The theme Lazy Days of Summer.

A framework was constructed in advance and the flowers were transported to the venue Nottingham. We had 45 minutes to complete the task.

Since May 2024 the BFA have been running heats allover the UK. These took place at our Hub meetings in Glasgow, Sheffield, Bristol and London. We were so pleased to see the level of enthusiasm and skill in both of our competitions.

One of this years highlights was participating in the British Florist Association National competition held at Loughbourough university 😊
The theme was recyled, reused, and repurposed for the festival catwalk.
It was great to find another use for my old point shoes🥰

I had an amazing time at the Floral Association Floricon event held at Holywell Park Conference Centre in Loughborough recently!

🌺Fabulous floral exhibitors and great to meet the floristry suppliers.

🌺 I had the chance to get creative with who was truly inspirational.

🌿 I'm excited to incorporate Smilax into my weddings and events next year. It's going to add that extra touch of elegance!

🌺The talk on floristry -bindley education was incredibly informative. I really want to study some more!!!

🌺Great to actually meet the author Su Whale -suw, who's books I cannot recommend enough they are my absolute go to!

🌺One of the highlights of the event was competing alongside other talented florists and achieving a very successful mark with my competition piece.😊 I couldn't be prouder of the experience and the incredible florists I met.

🌺 It was a pleasure meeting fellow florists and like-minded individuals who share the same passion. The sense of community was fabulous. 🌺Really happy with the lovely box of dried flowers from I will be selling them at a local craft fair .shop soon😊 Check out my website for more info link in the bio👆

I am thrilled to share these enchanting photographs from that capture the magical moments from Alex and Perrin's May wedding.

Perrin a creative designer skillfully co-ordinated the wedding from Colorado.
While the flowers were carefully transported all the way from in Wickwar, Gloucestershire to in Peebles.

A truly heartfelt and personal ceremony led by .celebrant
Was followed with a banquet style meal, speeches, cake cutting, highland games and a ceilidh enjoyed by everyone.

The venue was truly exceptional, perfectly encapsulating the essence of a romantic Scottish Wedding.

Thank-you Alex and Perrin for a remarkable day. Just wonderful.❤️
