HoneyWoods Wellbeing in Nature

At HoneyWoods, we create meaningful woodland events for everyone.

HoneyWoods has at its heart the desire to connect people with the nature around us; for their own wellbeing, as well as to foster a respect and love of the natural world.

Our woodland craft courses and retreats invite you to create meaningful connection with other people, with nature and with yourself. Learn sustainable woodland crafts and skills from our experienced instructors and take some time out to improve your own health and wellbeing.

What we do

Together we create nature connection and wild camping events throughout the UK, from family camping weekends to retreats and craft days, forest school, campfire cooking, foraging, storytelling, and bushcraft. Our woodland events and activities connect people of all ages with nature and support them to improve their mental and physical health and wellbeing – and to have fun in the process!

Healthy, enjoyable learning

Forest school, bushcraft and woodland crafts offer opportunities for hands-on learning and creating in the most inspiring classroom there is: the great outdoors.

Guided by expert teachers and activity leaders, participants learn traditional, practical skills that raise confidence, resilience and self-sufficiency; find out about plants and animals; surprise themselves with what they can do; express their creativity; share experiences; and make new friends.

Children and adults can discover, explore, move and make things in a beautiful, natural setting with plenty of space, lots of fresh air, and a focus on sustainability and community.

Experienced and trustworthy

All our staff have extensive experience working with children and adults, and especially with vulnerable people. We offer a safe, supportive environment for people to overcome challenges at their own pace.

We are all outdoor educators with Forest School OCN Level 3 training or the relevant equivalent, as well as being fully insured, and all our staff hold outdoor first aid and food hygiene certificates.

Contact us if you would like to arrange regular Forest School sessions for your school or group, or one-off outdoor events and parties in the South West. We work at the Tortworth Forest Centre as well as a woodland in the South West, and have access to other woodland sites across the UK.
