Seeing the love and joy on their faces is honestly what makes me love my job so very much. I always plan to get lots of pics and video at weddings but more often than not Iām far too focused on perfecting things and making everything look wonderful, but this time I had helpā¦.A special thanks to the amazing @contentcreatoruk because without her graciously agreeing to join us on Saturday and capturing the footage from this wonderful day, this little reel wouldnāt have happened. For those of you that arenāt familiar with content creators and what they are all about, give this amazing lady a follow and find out. Safe to say that Iām a fan! M A K E. A. B O U Q U E T.W I T H. M E. I LOVE making bridal bouquets. I pick out each stem individually and use only the most perfect blooms. This part of the wedding styling process is something that used to make me the most nervous. And it still does to a certain degree, but itās also one of my favourite parts too. Yesterdayās beauty was all whites and green with lots of texture and the most wonderful smelling garden roses. Congratulations to my gorgeous couple Chloe and Matt! Wishing you both all the happiness in the world.More to come from this gorgeous wedding so watch this space!
M A K E. A. S T A T E M E N T. Letās kick the week off with this beauty that I created at @tracypark last year.Mixing dried and fresh is so much fun and the finished look is gorgeous. It really makes the design come to life by having such a range of textures. And against the stone backdrop, this fireplace installation looked epic! You may have already worked out that Iām a big lover of a statement focal point at the end of your aisle. And my reasoning behind that is because itās in all of your ceremony pics and frames you beautifully during your vows, so itās always a great idea to go extra for your aisle. Especially if we find a way (which I usually do) of repurposing it for your wedding breakfast!Photographer- Daniella Marinos Photography Venue - Tracy Park

The best way to say Happy Birthday is most definitely with flowers!
I had the pleasure of creating this beauty for a very special birthday girl and the brief was āshe likes bright and colourfulāā¦ pretty sure I hit the mark. š¤©ššø

Itās a conversation I have with all of my clients who are having bouquets; what are we wrapping it with? Lace, ribbon or something different? My own bouquet was wrapped with crocheted lace made by my nana, these little touches really matter. The details count people!
Iāve been playing around with fabrics recently and Iām loving printed georgette right now. It makes for a quirky and super individual finish to a bouquet and for those that want something a little different but still in keeping with their palette or theme itās a fun way to make a bouquet unique.
Fun factā¦ Iām learning all about fabric from my Mummy, who once upon a time did interiors and design for some seriously prestigious places in London. So she knows all the things about fabric from what and how itās made to what fabrics work for different things and the various overall aesthetic you get from the different types.
So it turns out fabric is fun and Iām looking forward to incorporating different styles and textures into next years work so watch this space!
Brides to beā¦ what are you wrapping your bouquet with?

Look at those anemones and delphiniums dancing!
I wanted to show you what I mean when I talk about movement in your bouquet. I often get asked if I would advise my couples have artificial bouquets so that they can be kept. And as much as I love the sentiment, the answer is NO!
If you would like a bouquet made for you to keep then Iām all for it, and will happily include it in your quotation or we can revisit the idea after your big day or discuss other keepsake options. But for your wedding day, which is ONE day, you should have a bouquet that is a ONE off. And the ONLY way to have that is by going fresh and allowing me to pick the very best and most beautiful individual stems to create the most prefect bridal bouquet for you.
And this ā¬ļø is just one reason!
I bet that there is far more thought that goes into a bouquet than you realise - hop on over to my website where you will find a free download with all the tips and info you need when considering your bouquet. Link in bio. š
One from my ever growing collection of props!
This is my oh so versatile, vintage Ferris wheel which is such a great way to give your guests some sweet treats without doing a sweet table or hiring a sweet cart. I encourage clients to use it for their whole day and to get creative with what you use it for. A great example is stuffing the buckets with confetti for during your ceremony, and then an array of posh chocolates for after your wedding breakfast and finally old school sweets for your wedding reception later in the evening.
Letās impress your guests from the moment they arrive and have them talking about your wedding for weeks to come!
Making magic and having a blast doing it! š¤©
I love creating installations especially when I get given creative licence and the remit is to ābe creative using whatever colours and flowersā!
This feature gives me all the Midsummer Nightās Dream feels.
āThough she be but little, she is fierce!ā
This quote is about feminine strength and determination alongside courage and kindness and resonates with me in a big way!
And I have to give a shout out to my beautiful bride from last summer who said āohhhh you should film yourself doing itā - so I did - thank you Mrs Mahuika! š
Another one from last weekend. Whites and greens will always be on trend and one of the most popular choices because itās always so timeless and beautiful!
And if you know me and my work you know I love texture and movement and creating bouquets with personality inspired by the people they are made for.
Made with love for your day of love! ā„ļø
Seasonal gorgeousness at @eastwoodpark today. And they smelled amazing! š
Blush and burgundy for my beautiful bride at @clearwellcastle
Just love those colours! My bride knew exactly what she wanted (even if we had to use hand gestures in the place of flower names) but we certainly laughed a lot and it made the whole process fun and enjoyable. And that is so so important in the lead up to your wedding.
This is a celebration and I most definitely want you to have fun and feel excited and inspired and full of all the good types of anticipation before your big day. No sad faces here thank you very much! ā„ļøš
A little video of the beautiful bouquet I posted last week. The colours and textures were just glorious. š šøš·
My favourite things change on a weekly basis and sometimes even more often! But right now Iām loving making a statement at weddings. And as all my clients know, Iām also a huge fan of repurposed decor features. Your guests will never know! š¤« š
Beautiful dreamy bouquet for my beautiful bride š°āāļø š finished with trailing lace that has a very special meaning to the family. These little personal touches are priceless. After the wedding day is done, the confetti has blown away and the cake has been eaten we are left with the memories and the photos, so the details and little touches that would go unnoticed by some can end up being the most meaningful.
