A HUGE thanks to everyone that came to support our Xmas Fair yesterday. We had a fantastic turn out and raised money for both the The Nightingale House Hospice, Wrexham and Overton Village Hall.

The quality and presentation of gifts & goodies was superb so thank you to all the wonderful stallholders who always put so much effort into it, and the raffle prizes donated were very generous.

The Raffle was drawn and the congratulations to the following winners who have been contacted:

It’s so important to have these events in our Village Hall, not only does it raise funds for good causes, it’s also a very happy day where communities of all ages gather.

If anyone has any suggestions for other community events in the Village Hall please do put them forward, our ears are always open to new ideas for the New Year!

We are delighted to have over 23 fabulous stallholders selling everything from freshly baked cakes, award winning Cheese, locally made Gin and freshly baked bread. There's something for everyone from alpaca gifts, fashion, beauty products, pottery, art, jewellery - so many gorgeous gift ideas for Christmas.

THURSDAY 2PM - 6PM - £1 ENTRY - RAFFLE PRIZES AND TEA/COFFEE AVAILABLE TOO.

Not long to go now before our wonderful Very Early Xmas Fair! So many wonderful stalls to shop at..come and enjoy a lovely afternoon at a Overton Village Hall, Thursday 24th October, 2pm-6pm, £1 entry.

Well that was a fun Quiz night! Thanks to everyone involved, the Overton Village Hall Events Committee were amazing in organising such a successful sell out event! We had 114 taking part in the end.

The Village Hall looked amazing and is such a great venue to gather good people together, there was such a happy atmosphere with people chatting and laughing together.

Thank you to Dale Crawford who was an excellent Quiz Master, M E Evans Butchers for “the Goose”raffle prize, Jan @ Courtyard Interiors, Ellesmere for the beautiful flowers, Brynkinalt Estate for the “Invitation to View”, Moolah deli In Ellesmere for the hamper and Helen Baly for the stunning print of Snowdonia and Hawkins the Butchers in Ellesmere for their generous discount on the mince!

We raised a great deal of money and a good donation will be made to The Nightingale Hospice, Wrexham, and the rest goes towards keeping The Village Hall alive and part of our wonderful community.

Thank you everyone … it was definitely a great night to remember. 👏👏
