Many spaces have already been sold but there are still some dates available for the Christmas Wreath Workshops this year. If you fancy making your very own natural foliage wreath, decorated with berries and dried fruits and finished with a luxury velvet bow please email [email protected]. The sessions are fun, relaxed and festive. This year I'm swapping the mince pies for a different festive treat and supporting a local business. There's always prosecco or a soft drink when you arrive too.

All sessions are held at The Atrium, Penyffordd, CH4 0JZ.

My wedding diary is open for 2026!

I have already taken a few weddings which is amazing and 2025 is looking 75% booked.

So if you are starting to look at venues, booking in for your dress shopping and gathering some ideas together for a colour palette then now would be the time to start booking your florist.

I'm here to help, advise and inspire you. The florals for your big day set the tone, style and atmosphere of the venue. If you want your guests to absorb the scent, colour and detail of your florals then send me a quick email asking for a price list and we can go from there.

I work and cater to all budgets but do have a minimum spend which is fair and tends to cover bridal flowers, bridesmaids flowers and buttonholes. Packages are not something I offer due to the fact that my work is bespoke, seasonal and unique to each couple. Hence the price list offering many different floral items.

Many thanks,

Kirsty.

Can we just take some time to appreciate how beautiful this wedding was for the gorgeous Elin & Rhys.

Elin had a vision of wild flowers, both English and Dutch, a playful, bright colour palette which included almost every late Summer bloom that we could grab our hands on. Thanks to the help of the lovely Imogen ..you smashed it as always.

The happy couple were hitched and the fireplace was a huge feature for their special day. I hope I did it justice.

Floral brief: pinks, whites, untamed and natural.

I met the bride for the first time today as we liased over the phone after she recently booked me in for her wedding. The bouquets were filled with so many beautiful September florals. It was the perfect pick and mix bouquet.

When the brief is champagne, caramel, cappucino, beige and neutral tones.

I've used a gorgeous variety of fresh and dried flowers to add plenty of texture to the bouquet. My favourite stem has to be the scabious seed heads. They are fun, detailed and work so well with this colour palette.

Bridesmaid posies.

These are usually a smaller version of the bridal flowers but I like to have less uniformity if it's a mixed seasonal bunch.

Same stems, same quantities but each posy looks unique.

I got chance for the bridesmaids to help me out yesterday with some photos whilst three of them had hair and make up done.

Utilising the smallest amounts of time I can get during deliveries and the next stop.

An Autumn colour palette for the lovely Elinor. The bridal posy was filled with subtle peaches, blush, ivory and hints of orange. Seasonal beauties such as dahlias, euphorbia, scabious, waxflower and astilbe complimented the beautiful Quicksand and O'Hara roses.

Today's wedding took place at Trevor Church followed by a lovely marquee reception in the bride's family grounds in Llangollen. A blissful and calm setting, perfect scenery and chilled, laid back vibes.

The bride (and mum Ruth) contacted me several weeks ago to arrange the flowers and I was happy to take a last minute booking. The brief was so gorgeous! I'm also enjoying working with new and old faces. Whether it be past brides who have recommended me and are now bridesmaids, photographers, hairdressers, and make up artists. Floristry is a joy and I love the sense of community amongst the clients I work with and the relationships im building with other wedding suppliers. When photos are in, I will list the suppliers from the big day.

Congratulations to the happy couple. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness.

Downtime....

After a busy year and a chaotic summer juggling the kids, weddings, work, the hubby's shifts we've needed a little break away for our anniversary. So apologies if you've tried to contact me regarding your wedding flowers over the weekend. I will answer all emails, send quotes and any other enquiries during the week.

This year I set myself a target to take thirty weddings. No more, but I have taken an extra one at Christmas for a last minute booking which I can't wait to do. It will be the finale to the year.

The reason I set this goal, is to keep it sustainable and acheiveable in my life right now. To many florists this might not seem a huge number but to me with two children under 5, another part time job and a husband working a shift pattern of days and nights we juggle alot. I'm a one man band, (with a bloody brilliant hubby behind the scenes of Rock and Meadow) and I have great friends and family supporting me along the way. I've even had family roped in on weddings and friends help me when I've needed it.

I love my career, my job, the people I have the opportunity to meet, the work I produce and more importantly the childhood I give my children. They have the best of both worlds with two parents who have the opportunity to have more time with them in the week than most. It may mean sacrificing some weekends but the quality time we have with them is special. We've just forgotten to prioritise us more. The mental load is real and we need a little break now and again.

So here's to planning a few more little breaks. To rest a little more and listen to our bodies. A busy season is ahead with Autumn and Christmas 2024 and I'm excited for a wonderful 2025. 😊

Thankful and appreciate all the work coming my way.

Kirsty.

When a fireplace floral installation deserves recognition of its own.

This was an absolute dream to create. With every colour possible, this wild and stunning collection of English and Dutch grown flowers created a perfect floral backdrop for the cermony. I really want to do a foliage and berries installation for this fireplace. It would be absolutely gorgeous for a winter wedding..

Button me up...

The pop of lavender really works with the beautiful caramel tones, apricot and ivory tones. There were 16 buttonholes ready and waiting for the groom and his special guests yesterday.

Bring on a month of beautiful suit jackets. 😍

The buttonholes are the sweetest addition to the wedding florals.

Today's wedding flowers were for the lovely Hana and John

Hana opted for a mix of toffee roses, thistle, waxflower, delphiniums, dill, apricot lisianthus, scabious, stocks and dried lavender. Having both spent some time working away in France they both wanted a gentle nod to their time spent in a beautiful landscape. Hence plenty of lavender, scent and a rustic venue.

Congratulations to the newlyweds.

My next stop tomorrow. Keep your eyes peeled for more floral loveliness.

Still can't get over how stunning Rachel looked and her bridal bouquet complimented her dress beautifully.

The delicate bow and trails fall so nicely against the dress and her hair by looked gorgeous and classic.

This weekend I have the pleasure of designing the florals for a wedding and

I love the photos afterwards especially from your photographers. So if any past brides want to share your special day please feel free to send them over. 😊

So much love in one photo 🧡

Rachel looked like the most gorgeous and elegant bride on Friday along with her beautiful bridesmaids all dressed up in navy full length dresses and carrying these simple ivory florals.

The bride opted for a classic posy of roses, gypsophilia and phelanopsis orchids to compliment the silk arrangements by and they couldn't have been a better match.

There were some smaller added details such as the ivory bow trails and a small memory charm attached to the ribbon for safe keeping. I always find this part of the job emotional. It's such a special moment and an honour when the couple ask for sentiment to be included in their flowers.

More amazing images to come from the fantastic ✨️ thank you so much.
