I'm happy to travel wherever I am needed within reason however while I do factor in my travel time and cost into these prices on occasion I will charge a small surcharge if travel costs are higher.

Quite a busy day for us today.

Bouncy castle out for a birthday party.

We also had the pleasure of working along side James at JS Kids Disco this afternoon over at Oake Village Hall, Taunton.
Hosting Fluer’s 5th birthday party.

And then over to the Windwhistle Inn, Chard.
Hosting an 80’s night.

Since I’ve started DJ’ing at the age of 11 I’ve built up a lot of experience of working crowds through a vast knowledge of songs between many different genres. With this also comes a greater understanding of energy in the music and the flow of track choices in a set.
1 wrong song choice can litrally wipe a 200 full dance floor down to 20 people within seconds. Leaving you feeling crap, but lessons learnt and you move on.

Recently, some events I’ve been hired to play at I’ve been given playlists of 100+ songs.
I don’t mind a small playlist as a reference, 20/30 tracks as it can help to gague what music you like. But 9/10 times, most of the guests at your events ain’t even into the same music as you.
So sticking to this specific playlist can lead to a very dull/flat event, with no one dancing or enjoying them selfs.

Due to this, moving forward with any bookings I take.
I WILL NOT be accepting any playlists of music with more than 20/30 songs.

If you want a playlists of 100 songs, I will point blank refuse the gig, pass it onto someone else or charge you extra.
As I really do not enjoy standing around doing nothing for 5+ hours.👌🏽

If this was the case, you may as well have hired some speakers or PA system and just plugged in your phone to stream off your music services.

Bit of a different weekend from what I’m usually used too!

Friday hosted a year 6 leavers do over at charmouth. (These kids left me surprised with some of their music choices…. Rick Ashley, YMCA, Aryic Monkeys)

Saturday we played over at The Loft, Weston Super Mere.
I’m pretty sure that sound system gave me anxiety, with the bass kicking like it was.
Needing my ear plugs sooner rather than later… 😂😂

Sunday Funday hosting Karaoke over at Zinc Exeter, which is growing very nicely week by week.

What a weekend.
Friday - we did a bouncy castle and disco hire for a friends funeral.

Saturday we had both rigs out for 2 weddings.
Richie down exmouth on a boat for Stuart Line Cruises.

And my self at a stunning venue called Old Bridge, South Petherton.

Then Sunday with Karaoke over at Zinc Exeter.
Which turned into 3am finish, as it was that busy.

We appreciate all the support and tags in the posts you guys put out on Facebook when people requesting discos/music.

The Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis is defo in my top 3 for wedding parties.
